Chuleta del 7 was overcooked close to being burnt. I had trouble cutting it. The Stuffed sopapia was very bland and dry. Customer see it was great! Location of the restaurant is in the middle of a neighborhood. There is limited parking.

Good food, reasonable prices but the service and wait is terrible. I’ve been here a few times and every time it has been the same. We wait around for 5-10 minutes just for waitress to ask us for our drinks, then another 5 to bring drinks and then even longer for them to take our order. It took last time approx 25 minutes to bring simple dishes. Meanwhile the “to go orders” over the phone were being put out first before we got our food. We finished our meal then we went up to counter to pay and nobody came to collect for another 5 mins and the place wasn’t even that busy !!!! In short good food but terrible service. I won’t be coming back. I can find another place with just as good food with better service.

Favorite restaurant in artesia ! Food is authentic. And really good ! Best tacos and rellenos around !! Very reasonably priced ! Only downfall is the one waitress that doesn't come to check on customers .. had to get up 3 different times to walk over where she was sitting at on her phone to ask for missing items that we ordered , boxes , my Togo order ... never even checked to see if we wanted another drink when our bottles were empty .... I would have purchased another Mexican fanta and my son would have ordered another coke ... but she never came to our table ..... other then that food is outstanding ... this is our go to place in town

Fantastic meal here today. Generous portions, deliciously spiced pork adobo. Clean and simple interior. Prompt and friendly service 530pm on a Thursday. Not on Main Street but worth the 3 minutes out of the way.

Stopped here based on a recommendation from a local on 5/27 making our way back home to Roswell. This is Tex-Mex, not authentic Mexican food. There was a table of 18 that was already finished and a table of 2 next to us that had just left and waited 52 minutes to get our food. We were the only table at this time a couple did come in later other than that it was an empty restaurant. Didn't mind the wait since the family was talking and just hanging out and we were waiting for amazing food BUT the plates were hot and the food was cold. The barbacoa was very dry almost overcooked in my tacos(all my tacos were cold), tortas, and flautas(all cold). No seasoning all VERY VERY bland. The beans were good and the salsa that came with the torta that we doused in everything was good, not spicy but did have a good flavor to it was the only good thing. Kids ate most of their food mixing the beans in their food. We were hungry after a long drive trying to make it home. Zero customer service the waitresses or the person who handed us our food didn't come to the table but once when handing our food. With mixed reviews on being authentic or Tex- mex, we gave this place a shot but personally wouldn't recommend it. It just felt like a waste of time and $73.

* would like to note that the regular that was there very nice older man came up to talk to us in true small-town fashion while we waited for about 10 minutes at the empty counter to pay.

Very unassuming taco place. Yes the Google Maps is bringing you to the right place. Food was excellent. Had a variety of tacos and all were great!

Would highly recommend.

This is a great restaurant, it's hard to get takeout because they do t answer the phone on a regular basis. Otherwise I would rate them higher.
