Stayed at hotel and got breakfast included. I will stay at this hotel just to get the breakfast! Carnivore breakfast - bacon cooked to order and they got it right! My coffee cup was never empty - great service.

Tried to eat here today. Waited over 20 minutes just to get our menus and our drink order. Meanwhile, people coming in after us were getting theirs. Finally got our food order in after 40 minutes, the waitress said she would discount our meal because of the wait. After over an hour of being there, my family was done waiting. I was so looking forward to the chicken basket with onion rings, but the family wouldn't let me wait any longer. The picture is what I saw for so long, an empty table.

I've never had a bad experience here. Great food, great service. The owner is very active within the restaurant, the cooks are on spot, the wait staff does their best to give a welcome experience.
I love the Brunch Burger!!!

The service here was so good! Our waiter was very nice and consistently checked up on us. We got the B3 burger and Buff Chick sandwich and both were good. We especially liked the waffle fries! They’re in the Best Western hotel but it’s a totally separate business. Definitely give it a try!

Literally walked in with 3 children who desperately needed a bathroom and something to eat at 5 minutes to 2 on a weekday afternoon. No questions asked they stayed open for us and served the 5 of us lunch, even though we were the only people in the restaurant. We never felt rushed, and the food was great! My granddaughter tried a hamburger for the first time, and she loved it! Wish I could remember the name of the waiter and cook ( who came out to say Hi as we were leaving), but they know who they are! Thank you so much for your hospitality!

The salad and fried pickles were very tasty although, I would have liked to have had breakfast but they stopped serving breakfast at 10. I thought that was odd given they're only open from 6am-2pm. Most restaurants with this schedule run breakfast all day.

The other option on their menu that I was interested in was the Cuban sandwich. I asked if it was pressed and they said no. So it's not pressed, not on Cuban bread and has no roast pork. That's not a Cuban sandwich. Thankfully their menu doesn't hide the details of the sandwich so it doesn't affect my rating.

A great little restaurant. We stayed at the motel and had the breakfast in the morning before we left. I had the omelette and it was delicious. The waitress did great on serving as well.

We slept at the hotel and they partnered with Lucky Duck for breakfast and we felt like Lucky ducks! The atmosphere was typical of mom and pop’s cuteness, the server was cheerful, but the food topped it off. Hot, tasty omelette and the scramble (like a breakfast haystack) ummm. ‘Twas was perfect. 🤩 would definitely recommend.

The brunch burger was exactly what I hoped it would be. It really hit the spot and was bigger than most burgers. I don't normally leave reviews, but I'm very full and happy.

Fathers Day, 6/15/25, I took a 35-mile motorcycle ride alone just for a relaxing fun getaway, and to eat somewhere else other than hometown Carlsbad. The food was substandard (but priced fair). The young waiter Aiden was very friendly, checked up frequently, and received a very big tip from me for his honorable performance. The biscuits appeared to be from frozen or from a can as they were like hockey pucks, the scrambled eggs were not scrambled and appeared to be poured from a jug (yes they were cooked all the way), the bacon was limp and chewy, but the coffee was good. The food had every trademark of being Cisco commercial school cafeteria supplies. If I ever go back here, I will skip breakfast and try lunch instead. But I should have stopped at Angie's that I passed, that had a full parking lot, or somewhere else down the street. Really, for a restaurant next to a motel (not part of the motel I don't think) Ya'll should do much better with your breakfast food. No, I did not complain to management because I wanted to have a peaceful relaxing non-stress day. I paid cash so no record of my visit other than my cash receipt.
