Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

I've eaten here a few times before with no problems, usually it's earlier in the day.
Tonight we ordered online for dinner.

First the whole restaurant smelled horribly of rotten eggs, we were going to eat in, but decided not to.
The smell was making me nauseous.

The smaller pieces of garlic Parmesan chicken wings were good, but the bigger prices were rubbery, and cold.
The coleslaw had a weird soapy aftertaste, I have never tasted it with their coleslaw before, I barely touched it.
The red beans and rice tasted really off as well, not sure why.

The chicken sandwich, and mashed potatoes were great, but the fries tasted old, but weren't cold.
They might not have changed the grease, or something, but they tasted old, and left a bad lingering taste.

When we come to Artesia, we usually eat here, but now we will be finding a different place to eat.

New place. Nice & clean. Typical Popeye's food. Way too many flies inside but nice new option for travelers going through Artesia.

Long wait for the food in almost cold temperature restaurant.

To start the food wasn’t the best because it gave me a lot of stomach ache and someone else vomited after they ate it. Also, when my friend went, she said “The stuff I left in the toilet wasn’t pretty.” The service wasn’t the best either because they took about 10-15 minutes to make one order. The kitchen was also very loud, so the ambiance wasn’t the greatest.

The location is clean and the staff is a bit slow. When it comes to spicy tenders or chicken. The chicken is not spicy. You do not see red ring on that is supposed for be spicy. The best Popeyes I found was in Amarillo Texas.

This location is a great place to eat at any time. Their chicken is awesome. Cooked the way it is supposed to be. The sides are rightly portioned and hot. I recommend this location hands down.

This location seems to struggle to maintain competent staff--there seems to be a lot of turnover. I want to like it (as it's our local franchise), but it can't fill orders in a timely manner. I would not recommend it if you have a limited amount of time to dine.

Place gone down hill and i dont think corporate cares anymore

First of all the food is delicious. The issues that are here is that the last 5 times I’ve been here (even with 0 people in line) I’m always having to park on the side and wait ~10 minutes to get my order… How is it not busy whatsoever and I’m still having to wait this long? I only come back because the food is good.

Unless your a oilfield company you can’t order to go over phone completely stupid walk inside order and they say it will be 15 mins I’m only one in the place don’t know who this owner is but if he can’t get more competent people than this he is gonna go out of business. I was about 20 min out when I called so it could have been ready when I got there but too bad if your just an individual wanting some chicken!

Ordered in the drive thru paid got my drink was told just like the 6 cars ahead of me to park and wait 2minutes 20 minutes later that parking lot looks like a dealership with the amount of cars parked. I got off along with 5 others looking for our order. And they all looked at eachother to blame someone. They finally gave me my order and the chicken was regular not spicy like I ordered. This place is ridiculous don’t waist your time and money.

Poor customer service!!! I ordered two freaking sandwiches and they were not what I ordered and they refused to give me what I actually paid for and basically called me a liar would rather go to McDonald's or kfc at this point!!!

This place is just.....sad. the reviews are real. No customers, ordered online. We're on 50 minutes now, for 4 items. They always take forever and never get the entire order correct. They're not ever super busy, so it's not for lack of time or lack of ability. It really does seem like just laziness. And on top of that there NEVER . ANY. SAUCES. when we pay for them. We have to sit there and check everything else as well. It's so disappointing cause the food is GOOD. But why the service is so bad is insane! Especially the prices were paying now.

Not exactly my favorite. If you have time to waste waiting this place may be an option. Order was wrong. And they weren't trying to make it right..
