Visited for the first time this morning. Very nice cafe- clean and larger than expected. I got a latte and slice of banana bread. The latte was delicious but the bread was disappointing. The size of the slice was generous but it was burnt and intolerably hard and dry. I will definitely visit again next time I'm in town because I'm pretty confident that it was a fluke.

Absolutely great I’d you like getting your drinks 20 minutes after you finish your food. We ordered two sodas and one latte. We literally finished our sandwiches and sat there for 20 minutes before our drinks came.

Ordered the Guapo Salad for $9.90 and got iceberg lettuce. Called to ask why they don’t share if something’s changed on the menu with the customer before ordering. Sounded like a young kid and he didn’t have any answers other than they ran out of spring mix. Deceiving.

We stopped in for our first time today. Being a small town and serving a wide variety, honestly my hopes were not too high. Boy were we surprised. Service was friendly and patient. Coffee, tea, sandwiches, ice cream and pastries were all excellent and seemed to be of high quality. We were impressed in every way and will make this a new regular stop for our trips to Ruidioso. I didn't really want to change my review because I love this place, but...it appears that either the people running the screen to put in orders need more time before getting thrown out to the wolves on a Saturday morning or the system is slow? The line was to the door and not moving today and the orders weren't complicated. I really don't want to go anywhere else, but the line's gotta move quicker 🙂
