WOW! Another small town gem folks! And they specialize in Mexican and El Salvadorian cuisine! It was my first experience with Pupusa’s (national dish) and they are muy delicioso!!!! We’ll be back every time we come thru town 👍🏼❤️
I've eaten at La Mexicana for years, when it was in Silver City and, now, Bayard. I've never been disappointed. The owner and his wife are great people, dedicated to good food, good service and offering a wonderful dining experience.
What a surprise! I was looking for a vegetarian dish and ordered the Salvadorian tostada plate. Beans, pickled cabbage, hard boiled eggs and some special cheese on a crispy tostada. Sounds like an odd combination but I'm not exaggerating when I say that dish was out of this world! Kudos to the La Mexicana chef and the attentive waitress for a very special dining experience.
