You want an authentic “New Mexico” experience, this is the place to go. We loved our time here enjoying the food, great service, and warm, delicious “sopapillas” at the end of our meal. 100% recommend!
We were just cruising around town and happened to find Pete restaurant.
We sat outside on the patio, and the day was beautiful . The table was dusty for the night before. The food and service were excellent.

Have been going to Pete's for several months. In the past, it has been fairly enjoyable. Today, the hostess was less than impressive. I ordered a #1 combination plate and it was meh. The tamale was terrible. I had never had a tamale prepared like this one was. I ate only two bites. So disappointed. Oh well. Not much of a choice in Belen.
