Food was not authentic. Green Chile was blah! Omelet had over done eggs that were brown. Queso was served cold. Coffee was weak. Waitress did not check on us after food was served. First and last time I will be visiting this establishment.

Pleasant waitress. Food... ok... ground beef in combo plate and tacos could use seasoning.. they have VERY bland meat. Awesome soaps. Understandable wait because of 1 cook, but my company helped pad the time. I WILL be back, but not for the Mexican food.

The waitress was very unattentive the food was cold that it was sitting on the shelf had to ask for coffee and had to get up to pay the bill when the same waitress did not come back to get payment.

I’ll start with dirty dishes. Dirty coffee cup with lipstick that wiped right off then dirty plates. Maybe don’t get sat in the room on the south side. Cook decided to blare music while we were dining with parents and grandparents. We asked if they’d close the door which apparently pissed her off because then she constantly slammed dishes around and banged the bell. She turned the air down to 64 degrees. We’ve supported and been to Rita’s many times but we won’t be back and I’m sure they are happy for that too. To the cook. We truly didn’t mean to make your day terrible, we never mentioned the dirty dishes nor the temperature. We simply asked to be able to hear our parents and grandparents. Sorry for bothering you at Rita’s.

I understand when you have new employees, it's inevitable, but to essentially just turn them loose without any apparent shadowing to make sure they know what they are doing is inexcusable. To say service was lacking is an understatement. Our waiter did not know the menu, was distracted, set the plates on the table with a thud, never checked about refills, had to be reminded to complete the order, couldn't remember which table requested items. Food was less than appealing, lacked flavor, not fresh, or hot. The chicken sandwich was dry, the red chile tasted like it came from a can, and the taco burger was tough and over cooked. We will not return.

I would have gave a 0 if possible. We just picked up 8 tacos that we ordered 5 minutes ago. These tacos were soggy and cold and not fit for human consumption. They were falling apart. I immediately called and the man Samuel was very rude and full of lies saying we said we came from far away. That was never said! We were there in 5 minutes. He hung up on me twice, refused to give me his name which I found on the receipt and refused to right the wrong. He also refused to let me speak to a manager. Rita's lost a long time customer because we will never eat there again! Do yourself a favor, eat elsewhere. *** Review Edit ***. I am editing my review due to the owners response. I have proof ( my receipt and my call logs) and the receipt clearly shows that my order was placed at 1:36pm and was picked up at 1:49 pm. That is 13 minutes, not 45. I will be bringing the receipt to Rita's. I would upload a picture or 2 but there is no option. I can't wait to hear the excuse of why the tacos were soggy and cold and dripping with grease, because it had nothing to do with the time it took me to get there ( 13 minutes). The right thing to have done is, apologize and offer to remake the tacos but Rita's chose to fabricate their own version of the way things played out staring that the order was paid for at 2:21pm. Rita's closes at 2:00. Also, the order time and the time the order is paid for, they are on the same receipt! That's not a mistake, that's intentional deception to put it nicely! Now, that's sad! And yes, let's let the public be the judge. Where is your proof? There is nothing wrong with admitting your wrong!!!!
