Based on the reviews, Alvarito's Taco Shop is a lovely local Mexican/ New Mexican restaurant with fair prices. It is a hole in the wall with kind, if busy, staff and good service. The food is amazing and fresh, with authentic Mexican food made with heart and soul. Specific menu items include carne asada burritos, the best carne asada fries, really good menudo, great breakfast burritos, great fish tacos, and flauta toppings with good flavor. The portions are very generous for the price. Seating is available inside and outside, and the place has a drive-thru. Delivery orders arrive in less than 30 minutes. It is great for a quick bite.
