I usually have a great experience at the paleta bar. But today’s experience was awful. I walked in and asked for a banana and strawberry fruit cup and was told they were out of bananas which is fine so then I asked for just a small fruit cup with strawberries and chocolate and almonds, too, which I was told that she couldn’t give me just a fruit cup with strawberries because she was trying to save as much as she could for the rest of the week, mind you it’s Tuesday. Oh. My. Goodness! It is a good thing we found this place only 2 days before we left! These are the BEST paletas we have ever enjoyed. There are so many choices and so little time. Yes, we will return.

I went to this place as my destination for a motorcycle ride thru Corrales. I've had Paletas before but not like this. I chose a Taro Paleta and had it dipped in white chocolate , then covered in coconut. I called the Polynesian special. The Paleta was milk based and was very delicious. The other type of Paletas are water based. Both use natural fruit for flavor and is healthier than Popsicles and ice cream. I'm glad that I tried this place out. I will check out the...
