It might be good but the name of the restaurant is misleading because Tako is the Japanese word for octopus and there's no octopus on the menu. I know they thought they were trying to be clever but do your research. I put three stars on the service / food / atmosphere because having not been there I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt.

Overprice for mediocre birria. The consumme/broth taste water down. The thing about birria it that it’s supposed to be packed full of flavor and it lacked so much. The meat as well was flavorless, and the tacos were smaller than I thought. There’s a reason they don’t have prices up cause everything was $40 for two order of birria tacos and two a la carte. It’s not worth it for that price. Very disappointing. If you’re someone who is sensitive of flavor this place is for you

I get the torta with pastor and asada regularly and every time it is 11/10. The first time I had it the buns were perfectly crispy. Definitely sold me on this place for life. Run by a solo (in my opinion 5 Michelin star) chef that always treats you right with some good food. 🩷💯

We had the quesabirria tacos and the elote. The tacos were fantastic! The meat is tender and juicy. Comes with consommé (delicious) and a side of red and side of green salsas which are both very good! The only reason I’m not giving the food 5 stars is because the elote is terrible. ? It was a 16oz cup full of watery corn that had a chunk of melted cheese in it. Not good. For $8 it should’ve been better. This is not a traditional elote corn cup. You’ve been advised. Go for the rest!
