Mexican Restaurants in Capitan

“This place is the definition of hidden gem! It’s really easy to just drive past, but do not do it! It is a 3rd generation family owned restaurant, making recipes handed down for over 70 years, and full of local arts and crafts for sale. My wife and I split the combo platter, which came with a taco, a chile relleno, two enchiladas, and rice and beans, and we had chips and salsa to munch on while we were waiting for our food. To call this the best Mexican food I’ve had is not an understatement. Even the chips and salsa were way better than any I have had in a restaurant before.

All of that food only cost $28, and we drove away very satisfied with everything about this wonderful place. If you’re lucky you’ll be able to hear the stories behind the local arts on their walls as well!“
