El Paisano Reviews
You can never go wrong here. Family owned for over 70 years, 3rd generation run. Live music by the Troubadours Thursday nights with open mic for local talent at 6:30. Everything is delicious. We stop by here every time we are in Capitan! I created this menu (based on what they have posted inside on the pink poster). El Paisano is a charming, family-owned restaurant that has been serving recipes passed down for over 70 years. Located in Capitan, it is a hidden gem that is easy to pass by but worth discovering. The restaurant features local arts and crafts for sale and offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The menu includes dishes like the combo platter with a taco, chile relleno, two enchiladas, rice, and beans, along with chips and salsa that are notably better than typical restaurant fare. The prices are affordable, with a satisfying experience reflected in the friendly service and delicious food. Visitors often enjoy hearing stories about the local arts and appreciate the kindness of the owner.
