The owner is so very rude and arrogant. It was after 2pm and she refused to serve our table alcohol but others in the restaurant had plenty of beer also the food is not what ppl say it is it was way too spicy and disgusting like it had been sitting out for the day. Her winning an award or 2 must have blown her head up. YUCK!

This was an amazing experience. The food was absolutely amazing, my wife and I didn't speak the whole time because it was so good. The owners came and checked on us regularly. The staff was super friendly. And the food was amazing. The brisket and green chile eggrolls we're perfect and my wife had the green chile CFS and I had their green chile cheeseburger. We're going back soon and will continue to every chance we get.

I was recommended two things by a Big Bend National Park ranger: the Smokey Bear Historical Park, and a burger from this place. It was worth it-- the green chile burger is delicious. Thank you for a wonderful meal!

Capitan, NM: Oso Grille

We stopped in for an early supper and could barely find a table. When a restaurant is full in the late afternoon - you know the food is bound to be good. We tried the brisket egg rolls. I liked them but not everyone in our group did. The fried catfish and coleslaw were very good, Chicken fried steak large and filling, Oso Burrito was good but I removed the potato chips. Tea was very good.

Staff were attentive, order prompt and locals friendly.

The State Fair Burger is the absolute best burger in NM and it’s what I always order. My husband has tried several menu items and has enjoyed everything.

Green chili cheeseburger..WOW!! It has been a long time since I have said that! Homemade chips were great! Well worth the money! Great small town restaurant! I got it to go and the waitress that helped me (she is hot! and so was the other waitress ;)) got it done quick! Good job to the kitchen crew. Well worth the drive from Northern Colorado. If there was sawdust on the floor we could have danced! I saw this restaurant on the Kent Rollins YouTube channel.

It was a good experience. The green chilies didn't have as much flavor as expected. But everything was good.
