Super cool and memorable little diner. Feels like we just walked into 1974! Really nice people run this place as well.

I had a breakfast quesadilla and my husband had French toast. They were both wonderful. The service was excellent.

Smokey Bear is a hole-in-the wall frequented by locals. That's good. It doesn't look like much, but they have great food & service. Try a green chili cheeseburger & fries or any Mexican dish. Breakfast is also very good.

We called In and ordered Burgers for the Football team. They were awesome and great, about it all. The sweet young man delivered them to our bus, helped me load them on, included trash bags for the boys to throw trash, he is an excellent employee. Highly recommend if your a school and need to feed the team.

Service was fast and friendly.
Old and kinda run down, but clean.

Prices were low, but portions are small.

We were in town from ABQ (visiting Ruidoso) and decided to eat here because our young kiddo loves Smokey Bear. The food is as expected, small town diner. The atmosphere had potential to be a vintage retro diner meets Smokey Bear, but it's a pretty big mess inside. messy unkept restaurants affect your appetite. There's clutter all over the dining counter/bar area. Piles of junk in the back dining room. A sleeping older woman in the corner on a computer. The cool vintage wood burning stove is being blocked by junk. Blinds falling apart. Artwork falling off the walls. Tons of stuff on the tables (multiple sauces, near empty bottles, huge pumps of creamer??) Dusty dirty curtains.

Dear management, take a LITTLE time to simply clean and organize. You'll get the charm back if you just try!

Great little secret. After a day at the museums in Lincoln NM, stop here and have some great food. Lots and lots of choices. Huge menu. Breakfast all day, chicken fried chicken and more. Super fast too even though it was busy.
