Today, my wife and I ate at Anomaly Deli House for the first time. At first, we thought it was a bit pricey, but bang for buck, it's well worth it. Our sandwiches were hands down the best in town, fresh ingredients that will have your taste buds wanting more. I can usually eat a 12" sub sandwich with ease. By the time i was done, I couldn't eat another bite. My wife had to get a to go box for the rest of hers, and she got the 8". The ladies there were all very friendly, the service was amazing and quick. Next time you're in the mood for a good sandwich, Anomaly Deli House is where to go!

I was leaving Carlsbad and on my way home decided to grab a quick bite. This shop caught my eye so I decided to stop. Unfortunately I didn't get to try their food. I waited over 20 minutes with no update on my order from the girl at the counter. She approached the table beside me to clean it and did not bother to provide an update on my order. I decided to head to the counter and ask for the status on my order. They had not even began to prepare it. Several customers arrived later than I did and were served their food. All the girl could say was "it was my fault." I asked for a refund on my food and left. My order was a turkey and avocado sandwich. I came in with high hopes, but unfortunately left with nothing but a Guava Jarritos which I grabbed on my own from their coolers. I don't think I will be stopping by again.

This was the best sandwich shop I've ever eaten in my entire life fresh homemade bread and awesome salads fresh deli meat and veggies on it.it is a must try if going through Carlsbad New Mexico will definitely be visiting again when I am in the area I would recommend this for anyone

This is a legit anomaly. Why does Carlsbad NM have a sandwich shop this good? It's better than most places in Albuquerque (get it together Burque) and could compete as a street corner deli in NYC.

In town for work, first time visiting Anomaly Deli House. Best Freakin' Sandwich I Have Had In Awhile! Good customer service, good food.
I will definitely go back again.

Went inside and ordered two sandwiches and two salads to go. Waited 45 minutes most of it standing up due to not enough seating. Finally got our food and drove home, less than five minutes. The sandwiches were disgustingly soggy and the salads were hot. I will say the food was much better the first time, closer to when they first opened and cared more about service. Definitely not going back any time soon.

Absolutely HORRIBLE!!! No Ac they were out of half of their food. Salad and the ranch was room temperature if not warm.
