Some of the best sandwiches ive ever had. Totally unexpected. Im not a big dessert guy, but I ended up with a canoli and it was just as excellent. If youre in the area and enjoy deli food, it's an absolute must.

Aquino's is an understated gem. It's not terribly fancy, but the food is exquisite. I arrived near closing worried they wouldn't serve me. But I got my margherita pizza, ate it at the deli without feeling rushed and when I left they GAVE me a couple cannolis for dessert as they'd be throwing them out. Love the place. Will definitely be back.

This place is a hidden gem. We were hungry after hiking around Carlsbad and had relatively low expectations for lunch. We were blown away by the sandwiches and pizza. The ingredients were fresh and high quality, and the food was amazing. Even the next day as leftovers, everything was delicious. Definitely check them out!
