A cute little bakery/coffee shop. The outdoor area is great. We liked our coffees. The French toast was good, but the breakfast burrito was just ok. It’s get’s very busy and the line can go out the door. I think the set up inside could be better to accommodate busy times.

Hands down the best breakfast spot in Carlsbad. Family owned and operated. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff are all friendly and accommodating. If you're looking for a place with a hometown feel where regulars gather daily and welcome you to come sit at their table with them or you want to sit outside and enjoy the sun in the patio area and visit with Biscuit the resident cat this is the place for you. I've been coming here several years now and never once had a bad experience.

The atmosphere was cool. Small town Cafe style. We forgot silverware at the counter. They didnt bring silverware with the food so I went back inside to get them. The food came fast, but, after that there was no service. We paid the tip in the beginning thinking it would be good service and after paying and there was none. Overall, the food was pretty good. Potatoes were a little dry. Eggs tasted like they were instant but they were presentable and tasted pretty good. Biscuts and gravy were good!

Love this place, the spinach feta croissant is delish!
I tried to start off by letting the staff know I was out of town and excited to try the cafe but there was no response. Overall it seemed the staff were grumpy and lacked friendliness. The burrito was good and hot. I ordered the Belgian waffle thinking it was homemade but it was still cold in the middle and I had to ask them to warm it up. So not sure if it was pre-made and warmed up or they bought pre-made and warmed it up. I was disappointed, regretting I had convinced my party to try a local business.

It was crowded and a bit chaotic when I was there (around 10 am on a Thursday) but as the crowd died down the atmosphere def became more peaceful and service improved. I think they've outgrown house a bit. Pastries r delicious. I was dissappointed in my French toast plate with bacon--it was bland with no flavor, bacon a little cold--but it wasnt terrible ig. And it should come with eggs js. Iced Chai latte is pretty good and tea was good too. I am gonna try n go back again when they serve biscuits and gravy because apparently they r supposed to be amazing so hopefully my next visit will be more impressive.
Dietary restrictions: They offer milk alternatives and sugar free options
Parking: Along the street side and you can usually find a parking within the same block.
Kid-friendliness: It's seems to be a family atmosphere most seating is outdoors. They have free snack sized candy corns for children
