Got two 3 for me meals; one with the 6 oz sirloin with Mac n cheese, cheese fries and a house salad. The sirloin was juicy I'll give them that, but it was literally flavorless other than that and extremely chewy. The cheese fries lacked flavor, they were soggy as well. The salad was 70% cheese and the lettuce was old. The other meal was the bacon chicken ranch quesadillas and chips and salsa. The chips and salsa was honestly the best part of the entire meal. There was food flavor to the quesadillas but they were soggy. The ranch we got on the side also tasted very sour. We ordered a sweet tea and a blackberry tea only to get super flat coke and a sorry excuse for unsweetened tea. Tasted more like water than anything. We arrived at 2:40, was told it would be ready shortly. Received COLD food ten minutes later.

Was in the bar recently. Aside from the annoyance of the bartender asking if I was ready to order my dinner every ~15mins, the sight of him blowing his nose into.a tissue that he proceeded to wipe his hands with - was the last straw.

Arrived at approximately 6:55 pm, gave my name for party of 4 and received text stating an estimated seating time of 7:44-7:59. We confirmed. As I watched parties larger than ours arrive and get seated, I checked on our reservation at like 7:30, the hostess said that it would be another 15 minutes. Well that time came and went then we were told a that they couldn't seat anyone else for at least 30 minutes because they were behind. We left at about 8:10 to go on a hunt for food because the kids were becoming restless. At 8:56 after making it back to our hotel, we received a text stating that our table was ready!

my boyfriend and i were standing in the pickup line for 10-15 minutes ( we were the only ones standing there ) waiting for somebody to help us, and then 2 other people walk in right behind us and the lady at the pickup desk helps them first, she sees that we haven’t been helped yet and have been waiting for our food that had been ready just sitting there getting cold. the 2nd person only wanted a gift card, and they were trying to call a manager just for a receipt that wouldn’t print, so we spoke out and told her that we wanted our food prior to that happening so we could leave and get out of there. there is no sense in us waiting that long when we were the first ones there, & our food had already been ready. kinda ridiculous how she can take orders from people who had walked in 15 minutes AFTER us and she immediately helps them.
Since they did away with their chicken fried steak!! We don't go anymore!! Although the sliders are great!! The chicken fried steak should be brought back!!!

Stopped at the chilis here in Carlsbad on 12/21/24 around 3:45/4pm and had a pretty bad experience. Felt like the manager/host was very racist towards my family and I. It was a white lady and said she couldn’t check us in until she finished her rotation/schedule of her employees present on her tablet. Did not feel welcome at all whatsoever. Asked If they could put the Texas longhorn game on the tv and said they couldn’t because nfl takes president over any other games when half of the restaurants tvs were literally turned off. Do better and put your customers first. Would not recommend coming here if you’re Hispanic/latino.
