There’s not that many places to eat in Carlsbad but you should definitely skip this place, it was terrible.
I had posted my review a while back, but it looks like it was removed, but I’m back. lol
Very good salad bar
Cold coffee, unsalted fries, the meat was kind of good but not enjoyable. Its a nice and relaxing place.
Great food! Great prices! We went in for the soup and salad ($15ea)... then, we found out that for $10 more, we could get 2 burgers and fries to take home! Oh, definitely! Total w/tax & tip, we paid $50cash. We were stuffed! And had a meal (leftover burgers&fries) for the next day also!
Outstanding food, service, and facility!
I waited at buffalo wild wings for 20 minutes and they wouldn’t seat me so I tried this place and WOW!!!! Thank God because it is top notch!!!

Amazing salad bar!
Others around who came later received their food faster- not quite sure reason.
Friendly servers but seem spread thin.
Loud party in back of room distressed some patrons.
Overall, nice but pricey.

One of the few traditional Hotel restaurants available in this area. Is there food options are not completely surrounded by our Hispanic Traditions so it was pleasant

Both restaurants we planned on visiting were closed without any notice, so we found ourselves here. It's a nice place inside a hotel. We had the fajitas that came with a margarita for the Friday special

Lots to unpack here. Parking is ok, this is shared with a motel so manage your expectations accordingly. Upon entering, the venue seems very nice. Decor is welcoming and staff is pleasant. I ordered a 14 oz Ribeye and fried okra. Took an hour just to get the food, didn't seem like the restaurant was busy so not really sure why it took so long. The steak was NOT seasoned. Not under seasoned, completely lacked seasoning. I tried the okra, same situation here. For those that can cook a steak, it really takes a special kind of talent to mess up a ribeye. I encouraged both the server and manager to try the meal however they politely declined. I literally took only one bite and sent it back. I will never be getting my hour back. I am not sure if this was a one off as this was my first time here but I will likely never return. I paid $13 for an iced tea w/ a tip for the server. I left hungry. Don't attempt if you don't have serious time to kill. 2 out of 5 stars.

Our waitress was very kind and attentive however, the food was very bland and not worth the price. My daughter and I ordered a filet steak and both were quite bland and overcooked. My husband's fish was mediocre at best. The queso tasted like quick melt cheese from Walmart. The cheesecake was delicious though! Probably wouldn't return.

I was required to sign a waiver if I ordered my ribeye steak 'rare'. This tells me this restaurant has no idea where their meat comes from and they don't trust the supplier. Quality of food was subpar. I will not eat here again.
