On our road trip, we stopped at Kicho’s for takeout and were out the door after only a 10 minute wait. The food was hot, fresh, delicious, and the staff were welcoming, accommodating, and considerate. Could not recommend enough! Sorry that the food is halfway eaten in the photo - it’s just too good!
This is one of those hidden jewels that usually only locals know about. It appears that the restaurant is going by the name Kicho's Restaurant now and the food truck out front goes by the name Mi Juanita's.The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The service is very good especially compared to other restaurants in Carlsbad. There's nothing "fancy" about this restaurant, but it's clean and the food quality is excellent.
