The food was good. Everything we tried was very good from the buffet. We were wondering why no one was there when we stopped. The AC either dosent work or they keep it hot in there. Food and service was stellar!

I don't know what to say, the service was horrible The waitress didn't even try to communicate even though she spoke English and Spanish this is a buffet they had three options and salad chopped iceberg lettuce and tomatoes.

Whatever there was was ok there was no food in buffet trays, the beverages were flat. The waitress was overwhelmed, and the owner in assuming stepped out to confront waitress in an unprofessional manner we could hear them arguing across the restaurant. We paid 80$ for a so called buffet with no food in trays.Waitress looked like she didn’t want to be there after lady chewed her out. Went with family after Cavrens. Will not be back again very UNPROFESSIONAL

Traveling thru Carlsbad, came upon this spot in the road....KEEP driving, the food looked great but was bland and warm, not hot and looking freshly made...we were the ONLY people dining, waitress was very hard to understand, and her service was horrible,.she leaned on the cashier table and played the staring game with me, meanwhile my husband put the empty chip basket on the edge of the table along with his glass needing to be refilled..and she did nothing. Wouldn't budge til she heard the bell(order up)... brought the food to the table and we had to ask for refills and more salsa...salsa never came, she asked about the tip when we paid for our order😂.. my husband said we left it on the table... We barely made it out the door before she ran to get that dollar1$...👌😂

Found this place while driving around. The restaurant was very clean, all the staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was beyond exceptional!! The prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food!! I would drive the 3.5 hours from my house JUST to eat here again!!!
A great place for breakfast. We had Chillachilies one with red chili and one with green chilies, both outstanding. We had a late breakfast so we're able to see buffet getting prepared and it too looked great. Owner was very friendly even recommended a place to eat in El Paso.
