Found this place while driving around. The restaurant was very clean, all the staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was beyond exceptional!! The prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food!! I would drive the 3.5 hours from my house JUST to eat here again!!!

A great place for breakfast. We had Chillachilies one with red chili and one with green chilies, both outstanding. We had a late breakfast so we're able to see buffet getting prepared and it too looked great. Owner was very friendly even recommended a place to eat in El Paso.

On a scale of 10 the food does not register.
If you go there do not order the fried steak.
It is dry, thin a sheet of paper and tasteless

We had the chicken quesadilla and chile reieno (sp) and a couple of day old glasses of tea! The waitresses started out by bringing us out the wrong drinks then our chips for chips n guacamole were to hard to eat when our food came out it was just all old, tasted looked and dried out like it had been sitting there for a couple of days I would definitely not recommend you eat here. We had a 50 dollar ticket and still had to go eat McDonald’s to fill our belly’s!!

Parking: There is like 7 parking spaces for the restaurant

Great tasting food. Easy to locate. Fresh and hot. Inexpensive for the buffet. This is something that I would highly recommend others try. 9/10. Will be coming back when I have another visit to Carlsbad.

Waitress hardly checked on us but went multiple times to check on 2 men that were there. Buffet wasn’t full and the enchiladas were very dry. It was not worth the price at all.

Ordered a Gordita plate recieved bad tasting scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, beans and no gorditas for 15 dollars. Go spend your money somewhere else

Ordered pollo frito. It came plain with no jalapeno gravy like on the menu. Rice was cold like it was from the fridge not once but twice. Husband ordered tripas and he got the smallest amount. Not worth the money just to feed the food to my chickens so it isn't wasted.

The waitress was just on her phone while the place was dirty floors were disgusting. It looked like they havent been touched in months. The food wasn't worth the price at all. It was just me an my bf an it came out to 40. Id rather allsups burritos than that place again everything was dry an old. The bathrooms had no hand soap toilet had piss all over it. You can tell that hadnt been touched either. Overall i wouldnt recommend.

This is a very clean and comfortable place to eat. The authentic Mexican food buffet gives a great selection with excellent flavoring. The waitress was super friendly and hard working. The price is very good for an all you can eat buffet and drinks.
