Jess was a great bartender. We sat at the bar for faster seating. We asked Jess several questions about the food. He was very honest and if he didn't know he asked someone who did. We had the loaded chips for an appetizer and they were fantastic. I had the pulled Pork, wow, fantastic. He had the Blue burger and said the same thing. We were stuffed and had leftovers. We will return.

The food was delicious and made to order fresh. The kitchen was hustling! The service was a little slow. I saw our order sitting under the heat lamps for a minute and the table next to us finished their drinks before she took their order.

After climbing Mt. Guadeloupe, we found the Lucky Bull on our way home- we have a tradition of finding a local burger spot each time we highpoint in a new state. While we have had a variety of burgers across the United States, the service and honest good quality at stellar prices blew our minds. It was busy when we arrived and it took a second to get to our table but once seated the restaurant moved like a well oiled machine. Every level exceeded expectations. 10 out of 10 on food, service and of course the friendly welcoming environment. If youre passing through give the Lucky Bull a stop, its worth it!

Stopped in with the family while on a trip to the Guadalupe Mountain National Park to watch the Texans game v the Chargers. Son and I both had burgers which were great. Daughter had the Blue Burger which she really enjoyed. Wife had sides including the grits which she loved. Service was good, refills were timely. Looks also had the churros and ice cream for dessert which they enjoyed.

Came for an early dinner, had a couple of tables seated, took nearly 10 minutes to be seated, wait staff acted like the last thing they wanted to do was seat a new table.
We ordered a bleu burger and the steak tips, grits, a side salad and the dirty nachos. Burger was overdone and dry, fries were underdone, ended up sending it back to the kitchen. Steak tips were cooked to order but swimming in grease. Dirty chips and grits were delicious, salad had too much packed into too small a bowl which made it hard to eat.
Cranberry mule had plenty of stuff in it, fresh cranberries, cinnamon and lime but it was more decorative than adding to taste....more of a cup filler.
Waitress that ended up serving us did a good job.
All in all, though wouldn't go back.
