Maria's has far the most favorable food. The food is very authentic and over all amazing. They always have the best attitude and respect for the customer. I've personally have never had a bad experience. I just love this place.

This is literally the best taste in tacos. You will find in Carlsbad. I like to get the Carney Asada mini tacos. Not a lot of gristle and fat in the meat just enough a flavor. The tortillas has got a very clean taste to it. I had a little bit of lime to each taco with some of her green salsa. Amazing flavor and it doesn’t make my belly swell. Topped off with the ice cold Mexican Coke.

Horrible service. Got a few order of tacos with two cokes. When I picked it up they argued that I didn't order the drinks and charged me 40 dollars for 2 order of tacos. Don't go there. Really.

If I could give a negative review I would. Food was horrible, if you are used to real Mexican food from El Paso or Albuquerque u will be very disappointed. Service was even worse!!!! We waited over 40 minutes for 2 orders of tacos and 2 cokes. When we got our order they said we didn’t order any cokes after we spent $40. We specifically asked the lady if she had Agua frescas and they said no so we got 2 sodas. Asked for onion and cilantro on the side and the tripas was mixed with onion and jalapeño on one order and the other was covered in onion and cilantro. It tasted horrible I don’t recommend this taco truck

Idk what kind of tacos these are supposed to be but they’re not seasoned, cooked with chile, and have melted cheese. Food was super expensive! Paid 60$ for two people. I’d never return or recommend.

A Hidden Gem in Carlsbad!
If you're looking for incredible Mexican food in Carlsbad, look no further than Maria's Mexican Food food truck! This charming little spot serves up some of the best burritos, tortas, and gorditas I've ever had.
The burritos are packed with flavor and generously filled, making for a satisfying meal that hits the spot every time. The tortas are equally impressive, with fresh ingredients and a perfect crunch that keeps me coming back for more. And let's not forget the gorditas--their unique texture and taste are simply irresistible!
The outside eating area is a delightful bonus! It's beautifully decorated with twinkling lights that create a cozy atmosphere, making it a great place to enjoy your meal. The plastic walls provide a perfect shield from the wind and cold, so you can dine comfortably no matter the weather.
What really sets Maria's apart is the warmth and dedication of Maria herself. She is such a sweet and hardworking person, always greeting customers with a smile and making sure each dish is made with love. It's clear that she puts her heart into every meal, and it shows!
If you find yourself in Carlsbad, do yourself a favor and stop by Maria's Mexican Food. You won't regret it!

Food was ok and service was poor. Sat there for almost an hour after they messed up our place in line and putting 5 people ahead of our order. All we got was an attitude and sorry.

17$ a plate and the amount of time it took & only customers there you would think it would be good. No, my torta bread was burned, meat hard and salty. Pissed off.

We were visiting from El Paso and trying to find food at a place that didn’t close by 9am. We landed at this food truck and we are all glad that we did! The tacos Al pastor were delicious. The California burrito was delicious. The carne asada quesadilla was delicious. And the green salsa that comes with it, delicious. We were very pleased with the food. Now it did take some time but the lady said some workers left her hanging so she was by herself. But it was fine for us and I would say worth the wait. When we go back to Carlsbad we will be visiting this food truck again.

The food was good, but order taking was a little unorganized. She ran out of Barbacoa the day before, but ketp taking orders for it. Only to tell she can't make it because she ran out yesterday.
