I admit that having lived in Montana for over half my life I'm not an expert on Mexican food. That being said, I thought the food was phenomenal and probably the most authentic experience I've had in the longest time. I also that not everything was slathered in cheese. My husband is lactose intolerant and it was wonderful for him to have a wider variety of options to choose from. And portions were generous. We all ended up leaving with leftovers.

If your reading this and sitting with in walking distance and touring because of the caverns, just get up and start walking..... Great food, great Horchata, great prices... grabbed the four mini taco plate, and the chimichanga meals, more then we could finish, unfortunately the hotel didn't have space in the fridge for the left overs.... but anyways, don't judge this restaurant by the outside appearance... It is as close to a border town food as your going to find.......

The posole is INSANE. My husband is from Mexico and confirmed it’s one of the best he’s ever had. Great service, excellent flavors, reasonable prices. Would recommend to anyone!
