Stopped on a whim. The 5-star reviews are accurate. Tried the wings, chicken on a stick, and burger. The wings were fantastic, fresh, and crispy but not over fried. All the sauces we tried were great e.g., The “Good Stuff” (buttery Italian), lemon pepper (almost like a bbq sauce), mango habanero (sweet with some heat), JD’s (buffalo with an extra kick), and I tried the Volcano sauce which is my new favorite salsa! The chicken on a stick had a great flavor and the burger was big and the freshest patty I’ve had.For me, a great place is where the food inspires you to cook… and Thelma’s did that.
We were visiting from Austin, doing the spring break thing. We had a hankering for wings and decided to go to Thelma’s. I am so glad we did!!! The wings were delicious!!! Loved the restaurant atmosphere as well. Enjoyed talking with Jimmy, as he is a very nice guy. I wish we could bring this restaurant back home with us ?

Came here with the fam after going to the caverna. Wings are great, well cooked and seasoned to perfection the mango habanero and garlic Parmesan sauces are so good. Ranch is delicious can’t have good wings without good ranch. The chips and salsa were surprisingly great also for a wing place! The burgers were cooked to perfection. Last but not least the service is amazing we felt right at home and we had someone checking on us and they were very friendly and kind to my girls. Fries were one of my favorites seasoning was so good. Highly recommendKid-friendliness: My 6 year old had a good time talking to the staff and they gave her toys to play with and a cookie! Loved this
Fries were excellent. Service was good. Wings were not my favorite and the tables were in need of cleaning.

Best place to eat in town. The decor is exactly what you would want in a wing restaurant - there are chicken items everywhere. Wings were great business is family owned and extremely friendly and wholesome. Best wings I had were tias and spicy bbq.

Not from here moved here from Wyoming a while ago and just recently tried this place. I definitely recommend it! The wings and burgers are great and homemade! They were really fast as well

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars! My parents, husband, daughter and myself came here on a Sunday night and it was a blast. The server was so great! The husband and wife that work there are amazing people and there was another gentleman working there that was very nice too!The food was just as amazing as the people working there!! My daughter is very picky and looovvveeeddd the chicken on a stick and the teriyaki sauce. The chips for the chips and salsa were warm which is always great. The burger.....oh my gosh the burger was delicious!!! I didn't go there hungry, but I took a few bites and I'm very excited that I brought it home to have it later.On top of everything I said above, they also are very involved in the community and find ways to support in anyway they can!We are not from here as we are just visiting from a couple hours north but we will absolutely make sure we make our way down here again.I highly recommend this place!!

Eclectic little place. Doesn’t look like much from the outside but lots to look at on the inside. Menu is one sided, short and sweet. Nothing fancy. Just straight forward. We each had a cheeseburger with green chile and bacon (warning: the green chile is HOT!). Fries were hot, fresh and delicious as was the burger. Good sized burger too. Friendly staff. Would come here again for a great homemade fresh burger. I may try the wings next time.

This is the spot for wings. The variety of sauces is excellent. Perfectly fried up and packing flavors. The chicken on the stick with fresh cut fried is my personal favorite. An rhat OG sauce. That sauce!! You could literally drown anything on that menu with that sauce. So good! The people are super friendly and inviting. Best wings, hands down in or around this area
