Went on Tuesday evening about 8 pm. Panini sandwich was not heated through and pork very dry. Disappointed based on all the great reviews. Service and ambience great, but if the food isn’t food, what’s the point!

Great ambiance and service! Terrible food that's way overpriced! I highly suggest avoiding this place at all cost! I drove in for the caverns and drove out with an upset stomach!

MehThey had top chef menu ideas, but cafeteria cooks. My sashimi was seared, I don't get that. The meat cut was like that of a tuna steak, not a sashimi cut. My salad was served with the wrong dressing.

The food was good. Waitress was very good. We had a slight issue and found the manager to be quite unfriendly and unsympathetic. Hence, the low rating. I guess on another day, things might have gone more smoothly.

The epitome of mid. This was pitched as the best restaurant in town, which I suppose could be true. If it were anywhere else with any sort of competition they’d just disappear, though. Apathetic bar staff, a ridiculous wait time (we were told 30 minutes and it took well over an hour), and food that definitely came from Sysco’s frozen selection. Our waitress was great, though.

Brussels salad with salmon was tasty. Bar is too high (or chairs are too low) and I did not appreciate having the credit card charge added. If they had told me I would have paid with cash.

Stopped there for lunch. Say on the shaded patio. Nice ambiance. Had a vegan burrito with lots of grilled veggies and beans. Came with guacamole and salsa. They added chips because rice was no longer vegan. Wife had the chicken salad wrap. It was very big. Came with fries. She said it was excellent. She also had a mimosa that was delicious.Vegetarian options: Ask for the vegetarian menu. Has some vegan options as well. Items are not listed on the regular menu.

We went here for super today. Had the salmon and mashed potatoes. Others had the chicken parmigiana. Both were very good
We were visiting from out of town and the restraunt was very busy. We opted to sit at the full service bar. The bartender was obviously new and was struggling to service us and the drinks were messy and not made right but there was an AMAZING barback Rio that came in and truly saved the night. He jumped in and cleaned up and caught up on all the drink orders that were piling up. Employers need more employees like him. He turned around the experience we had. I hope he gets the recognition that he deserves!

Solid little restaurant in Carlsbad. The wait time was quick, beers were cold, and food quality was pretty good. The outdoor seating was very convenient for our pup as well. The only real negative was overall service. The host and bartender weren't very friendly and our server seemed new because we had to ask him for all the basics. Water, utensils, etc. It wasn't that bad but thought overall the service was the only area that could use improvement.

Yellow Brix restaurant in Carlsbad, NM is a must! I had the New York strip, which was cooked perfectly with a side of sautéed veggies. The bar was clean, and the bar tender was very conscientious about keeping the bar areas clean. Beer cold, food good, service top notch! Stop in and see for yourself!

Hat's off to Dan and Barbara. Well done. Charming, inviting patio was a perfect end to our Carlsbad Caverns adventure. Service was attentive, personable and professional. We stared with the fantastic nachos. Followed by beautiful salads. Of course a few glasses of wine helped ease the long walk into the cavern. Yellow Brix certainly stands out as a truly memorable dining experience.
