I went for my birthday and I wanted a low key chill birthday so I wanted to go to Greenside cuz I’ve always loved their food. We sat down and there wasn’t really anybody there and it took forever just to get our order placed. Seemed like the waitress was too busy just chatting away to the other employees. We got our food which was ok (we’ve had better the other times we’ve gone) but my mom told them it was my birthday. I didn’t want a huge scene I didn’t even want them to know it was my birthday. I told her I didn’t want a big scene, I even tried to deny it was my birthday. But she wanted to see my ID. But NOOOOOO the waitress chose to have a her way and had THEATRICAL scene yelling to everybody it was my birthday, I was mortified. I wanted to climb in a hole. I got the free desert which tasted like it was on the fridge for entirely too long. Once we got our bill (I ordered the fried chicken dinner) we saw there was an extra charge of $1.30 for frying the chicken. This was new. I always ordered the same thing and this was the first time I’ve ever been charged for them to FRY my chicken. Let’s just say the place has gone down hill. On top of we found out the owner was the one pacing back and forth smoking their cigarette the entire time we were there and we were there for 2.5 hours. Let’s just say we won’t be back again especially the service we had received.
Our server was great and the atmosphere was very comfortable. My sons chicken tenders were very good but I got the huevos rancheros and there was so much cheese on it that I couldn't really taste anything else. My friend got the breakfast burrito and was not impressed either. I will say they have fantastic coffee and the servers were very nice
I'm not certain what happened with the food here today. The waitstaff have been wonderful, but the food coming out of the kitchen is awful. The chips were burnt black, a large quantity of pepper was spilled in the guacamole and still served to us. The chicken on the nachos tasted bad and the cheese sauce was watery and lumpy. Thankfully the kids burgers were ok, guess those a a bit harder to mess up. I don't know that we'll be back anytime soon if this is the quality of the food.
Food was ok but it to go and it was thrown in a cardboard box like a doggie bag so disgusting paid over $40 bucks expecting better than that so at this time I can’t say I would go back or recommend this place very disappointed
Great food and service thank God for the new owner and manager
We had a reservation on Mothers Day. We show up and they're CLOSED for the day. No one called us or let us know. Bad for business.
Stopped here for a late weekday lunch and the four of us really enjoyed our meals. Next time we'd like to take advantage of the beers on tap. The gluten-sensitive member of our group enjoyed a great burger with a gluten free bun, and there were some New Mexican dishes and gluten free salads he could have had as well. The mac and cheese is amazing, and 2 of us had the Sangre de Cristo sandwich with homemade potato chips. I would drive up from Albuquerque again for no other reason than to eat that sandwich and the chips.
Friendly waitress, but they need kitchen help
Small town cafe with a small towne vibe and the food is really very good. The pricing is pretty reasonable, depending on what you get. I would highly recommend the Sangre de' Cristo.
Waited over 45 minutes staff inexperienced

We’re so grateful to have a café like Greenside in the east mountains! The food is a little pricey for fast-casual dining, but other than that, we’re happy to have them as an option. Their service is fantastic and the person who takes the orders over the phone, always does a great job.
Ordered to go fish and chips expecting quality for the price. To my surprise both fish and fries were cold. I mean internally like if they started out frozen they were not cooked long enough making the whole meal unappetizing and I dare not take them back. The woman I presumed the boss lady was not friendly at all. Wasn't the first time I got that vibe either. The younger servers always seem so pleasant though.
Absolutely wonderful place. The menu choices my family enjoyed were very good. This place is a hidden gem, absolutely a great burger if you're so inclined.
It was a great experience, the food was great the cooks were great the place was awesome and the service was fast the place was great and friendly for family and friends. Thanks Greenside Cafe for a great meal and experience.
Honestly it was 100x better than I expected. My “KFC” sandwich (Korean Fried Chicken) with Kimchi and Gochujang was not heavy nor greasy, but it was lovely. The accompanying Sweet Potato fries were outstanding. And if I forget the Strawberry Cobbler my taste buds will desert me. My wife had a Vegetarian Enchilada and loved that also. I didn’t share my cobbler (why’d they gimme two spoons?)
