So bummed with our most recent experience.
Hadn’t been to Greenside since new ownership. Ordered 3 entrees and waited 15 minutes after pickup time for order to be prepared. I don’t think a single item was salted. Bland chicken, bland mashed potatoes. We also didn’t receive our sauces. While waiting for our order to be prepared for pickup, the vibe in the restaurant was very off. No music, stressed employees. The server we interacted with was kind though. And the crispy chicken had a good cook on it. Greenside used to be our Eastside go-to but we will not be returning. Good luck. I’ll be surprised if it’s still around in a year.

It took over an hour to get our meals. When they finally arrived, the hollandaise sauce had separated into a gross lumpy mess! One of the meals had cold eggs. Very disappointing experience!!!

Fab - yummy brisket, chile, and pinot grigio. Update - the plates have gotten smaller but still adequate.

I am so disappointed with my Friday Fish Fry order tonight. I ordered online, and the email said my meal would be ready at 6:34. I arrived at the restaurant and was told they had no idea when my order would be ready, but the dining room wait was 1 hour. 45 minutes later, I received my food. The order looked nothing like the picture online. The order contained 6 fish nuggets, a handful of fries, and no coleslaw.
I have always loved Greenside so I was very surprised to see such a small order for $16.

While the food is good there seems to be a disconnect between the food being ready and a server actually delivering to the patrons. We watched the chef having our food ready and three different servers moving our food around but not actually getting it to us. We saw this all evening with some orders setting for 15 minutes getting cold. Many top restaurants have whatever server is available deliver the food which I think would be a great idea at this place.

My wife, who grew up in Texas, says the chicken fried steak is the best she’s ever had. The brisket enchiladas was fantastic and the red and green chili is flavorfull and just enough heat to warm the soul. We are going to make this a regular place to eat.

Went to see the jeweler next door and the aroma, we asked and they said one of the two places..so we went to check and one was a pizza place and the other this diner..so we decided to try it .my husband ordered the chicken fried steak dinner and I ordered the tacos..(since it was Taco Tuesday.).. My husband's meal, the only thing was the gravy they serve was probably out of a can and it has sausage in it, (similar to gravy that is used in the morning) so the taste was quite different..The best part of his plate were the homemade mash potatoes..The tacos I ordered where brisket.. the brisket was really greasy, the serving was very skimpy...it was smothered with sour cream..when I brought it to the servers attention that I could not eat the sour cream..I said I was not aware that they would have sour cream and can not eat them..she said the menu says Taco Tuesday and they come that way..she did not offer to fix or me to order some thing else.. when we left the special was on a board and it did not say a thing about sour cream. The only part was the high light, we met the customers next to us..they said the trout was great and one lady has the enchiladas that were brisket. She did not eat her plate either..I will not return Should have went to pizza place.

Had lunch here and it was worth the stop. Service was good. Sat outside in the cool mountain air. Will be back next trip down 14 at lunch time.

Have eaten here for years. The last time was on the way up to the crest. The service was fast and friendly. The food was excellent as usual. The Sangre de Christo sandwhich is wonderful! Given the quality the price cannot be beat.

Excellent food definitely recommend the Mac and cheese comes with chicken and green Chile. Or you can also get brisket instead.

I was in a group of five at 11 am on a Saturday. The restaurant had just opened. The view from this restaurant is lovely. I had the Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich with the sweet potato fries upgrade. The sandwich was decent, but the fries were very disappointing. Others in my group had the regular fries, which looked much more appetizing. I wish I had been told that the regular French fries were better without the upgrade charge.

Not many vegan options. Added crispy tofu to the peanut noodles and got a whopping eight pieces for and extra $3.76. Definitely not worth adding the protein which really sucks.
