“Hands down the best frito pie. The red is earthy and delicious. Service is fast, staff are kind. We drive here from Albuquerque all the time just to eat here.Vegetarian options: Frito pie no meat extra red chile is awesome”
“For reference I had an oat milk latte. The coffee is fantastic. The hints of cocoa are perfect. I had the lemon poppy seed scone and it was also fantastic. This has become one of my favorite coffee spots around Albuquerque. Definitely recommend you stop in.”
“This place has the cozies atmosphere! The girl working the register and waitressing was the sweetest! The FOOD WAS AMAZING! Best fajitas and chilli rellenos I've ever had!! Highly recommend!!”
“I came in and got the Cleanse juice on a Tuesday! It was DELICIOUS! I came back on Thursday and got the Energy juice! Again DELICIOUS! This time I got a Chicken Wrap for the hubs! He loved it! Jesús’ homemade Chipotle sauce is sooooo excellent! And I loved the way I was treated to his lovely customer service. Also, his prices are great!”
“Good little bakery in East Mountain. Great stop going to and from the peak. A little sweeter than your typical parisian bakery, but nice flaky pastry, and good solid baguettes.”
“The store itself is just fine. This review is for the grill and more so specifically the breakfast burritos. I’ve tried them a few times and they just aren’t good. The biggest problem with them to me is obvious - they’re dry AF. Next to zero moisture and what little cheese it has doesn’t really melt and soak in, but instead is just a lump.I’m used to juicy burritos and these are the opposite. The taste is average. If you should ever buy one… make sure you get a drink with it so you don’t get burrito stuck in your throat.”
“I had a delightful meal here. The prices are fabulous. The food is delicious and the staff is professional and extremely caring. I will be back before my vacation is over!”
“I love to stop here for beer and a pizza after a long day on the mountain….and sometimes I just drive up from Albuquerque because the vibe is great! Superb outdoor seating amongst the forest, occasional live music, phenomenal pizza and delicious beer! Rumor is the ideal spot for a pit stop when passing through Cedar Crest.”
“This is the best and only place I would ever consider good BBQ food in New Mexico. Super delicious meat is fall off the bone ima say it MOIST and juicy finger licking M M Mmmmmmm beyond amazing. The atmosphere was so RIGHT ✊... the service was exceptional Mr cool cat Joey was on top of everything. We will definitely ”
“Really cute coffee shop in the North Northeast. Plenty of indoor or outdoor seating. You have great mountain views if you sit outside. Wifi is really good if you're catching up on some work. It's pretty quiet during the week if you like reading, but gets busy on the weekends. Lots of caffe options, if you like variety. Great social spot for bicyclists or hikers in the area who want a little break before or after their adventure!”
“I love this place so much and the ladies are soooo nice. I usually walk in and order but today I ordered online and they called to confirm an odd request I had, which they granted :) I genuinely love this place and will keep coming.”
“We received a recommendation to eat here. So glad we did. The food was excellent. Really, really good. Good thing we don’t live here I’d be eating here all the time! I ordered vegetable tempura and the vegetable chicken. Delicious. And Mike, the general manager. What a personable guy. So nice to us.Do yourself a favor and eat here.”
“One of my favorite restaurants in Albuquerque. Any time I’m sick I HAVE to have their Pho to help me recover. Great staff, affordable prices, and delicious food.”
“This was a very nice restaurant and cafe to visit. The food was made very quickly and the coffee was great. They have wild cats hanging around outside and there was a goat inside. I would definitely return.”
“Ola is the sweetest person, a great chef, and she has a big heart. Its good old fashion home made comfort food. You can't go wrong at Ola's. They make the BEST breakfast burrito this part of New Mexico.Vegetarian options: Food can be made to order as a vegetarian option”
“I’ve been coming to this location for a while and I’m upset at myself for not writing this review sooner. I’ve always been greeted promptly, the food is always fresh, and my online orders are always correct. I’ve seen different faces through the years , nevertheless they have all been great at their job and provide great customer service ! Great job to this location and keep up the great work! I will be back!”
“You ever go in to restaurant expecting to just eat and leave, but end up laughing yourself to death because you vibe so well with the employees? That was our experience on 03/04 and Zu Hot Pot became the pinnacle highlight of our trip to Abq. Usually the highlight of a trip to Abq is not getting shot or robbed and this place far surpassed the usual expectations. The food was great, the hot pot was a new welcome experience much akin to a mongolian grill theme but different all on its own. The best part though was our waiter Tomas pronounced toe-moss I believe. Personally I would have gone with Tom-is but I digress and believe this young person should identify to whatever pronunciation Tomas prefers.Tomas came over and greeted us with an attitude befitting his age(16) and someone who works(possibly unwillingly) for the family business. Once I caught wind of the vibe and energy Tomas was presenting, we were quickly able to relate and joke through the rest of the night. The dry humor, subtle sarcasm, and slightly laxadasical attitude could turn some people off but for us it opened a door to a hilarious night of jokes, jabs, and laughter. We really enjoyed the night and have tons of jokes and laughs and overall great memories. I will be back to this place anytime I have the misfortune of ending up in Abq and look forward to more hilarious experiences and sneaking french fries into the hot pot.”
“Everything I have had there is delicious, but their lentil crackers are amazing. Buy extra because you won't want to share.Vegetarian options: They are very accommodating to vegan requests.”
“We tried this restaurant for the first time today. I got the chicken hibachi and an avocado roll, and my partner got the combination udon and an egg roll. We thought the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Service was friendly and atmosphere was also excellent.”
“This place is awesome! I went here for the first time after I turned 21, and our server was so sweet! She was very helpful in helping me decide on a drink I’d like, and was very catering towards us! In my recent trip here, I got the corned beef and cabbage to-go, and it’s still as delicious at home as it is in the restaurant! It is a taproom, so obviously it will be loud.”
“One of the better hibachi places I've been to here in albuquerque and our server was absolutely amazing! Great food for a decent price and awesome entertainment! 10/10”
“We visited Boxing Bear our first night in town and we loved the location. VERY dog friendly, great beer and several restaurants in the same strip center so lots of food variety. I could see this as a very regular hangout for locations with all those positives. We will visit again when we are back in town.”
“My mom and I always ask to split the Jjamppong (Korean seafood noodle soup) and jajangmyeon (Korean black bean noodles) into two to share, with the Korean seafood pancake. One of our favorite spots in town. Very good service and relaxing atmosphere.”
“Great New Mexican food with large servings at reasonable prices. Fabulous servers with homey attitudes and Real nice atmosphere. Managers will make sure you are satisfied in all aspects of your visit. Great for big parties too.Come hungry ??????Parking: PlentyWheelchair accessibility: Yes”
“Had lunch here today. The staff was very friendly, and the food was amazing. I got an Entrée and a Sushi combination plate, so for one person, it was an expensive lunch... but I did eat two meals technically, still worthwhile.”
“Nothing to really brag about. The burgers could be bigger and juicer and cooked the way I asked it to be cooked. It came back more WELL than MEDIUM well. I truly was expecting more for my money. The seating has no cushioning and my butt was killing me after only being there with friends for 30 minutes. It seemed to be run by teenagers and I'm always leery of that .”
“I usually order pizza for delivery from Juan Tabo location when I'm on a project and way to tired and disheveled to venture out.... They are heros and lifesavers and the pizza andAll menu items are mouthwateringly wonderful! Bellissimo Mario's.You are loved?.The indoor restaurant on Juan Tabo is also the best!!!”
“Really great food they’re always super fast, I also cannot stress enough how delicious the chicken on a stick is. Cheap and tasty and even better left over. Thank u happy garden ? fav Chinese I’ve had in abq. Dine in isn’t an option but the service is fast. I always call ahead.”
“We have come from Santa Fe for decades to eat here, and even had a conversation with them about opening a place in SF, but then someone had a baby, then covid, then I sensed this family place was not motivated to spread themselves too thin just for $. This restaurant would thrive anywhere. Rightly so. Now go away and leave us to this jewel - the best restaurant I can think of,”
“We were recommended to try this place. The calzones were rumored to be amazing. We tried it tonight and it lives up to it's reputation. We will definitely be back!”
