Worst experience ever. Without the owner dude there the service goes to s. Food goes to s. I’m a neighbor that goes all the time but I can’t say I’ll be back even if Ronnie’s there. Nobody there even cares I walked out. Then they charged for crap food that was cold. So bummed was good when it opened

Had a terrible experience at My mom and dads Restaurant. The service was awful—our group was barely checked on, and we had to ask multiple times for refills. We waited 45 minutes for our food, only to be told by the chef that they were still making gravy. While we waited, four other people who ordered the same item got their food before us when we had been waiting the longest. When the food finally arrived, it was disappointing—overly salty, with no care for presentation. The bacon was both undercooked and burnt on the same strip! Will not be returning. Do not recommend.

This place is a diamond in the rough. Went two nights in a row, first night the server was practically reading our minds, and the food was delicious (even though it took quite a while to come). The next night we got different food (chili rellanos), the food came out cold, it took like 30 minutes to even get waters, and gave me crap for asking for something different than the cold food they served me and offered to "microwave" AND they charged us for stuff we didn't order. Completely different experiences. They need to iron out their flow in the kitchen, and iron out their staff. Once those issues are fixed this place will be a phenomenal establishment. I hope they can figure it out.

We were passing through town and this was one of the few places open mid-afternoon in Chama. We were extremely impressed! The food was fantastic and the service was great! We would highly recommend!

A cute little place. Had a good breakfast. The gentleman serving us was nice & efficient. I had huevos ranchers, my husband a classic breakfast Both were good & reasonably priced. We'll go back.
It's within walking distance from several motels.

The owner and his buddy were sitting right next to us and when they got their plate it was overflowing with food. He had a huge sandwich. Fries were falling off his plate and his buddy had a big taco plate also overflowing. but when they brought me my plate, it was very small. I didn’t even get a Sopapilla that it was supposed to come with it. I had the enchilada plate and it came with hamburger meat, and the hamburger meat tasted like it was old. The food was very cold even if I had to wait almost 45 minutes to an hour. Don’t recommend to eat here.

I do not recommend this restaurant. If I could put a zero, I would put a zero. It took almost 45 minutes to get our plate and when I did get my plate, I noticed there was a hair in it. I told the red dress she brought me another plate to put my burger on because the Hair was on the fries and made me some more fries. I had already finished my burger by the time she brought the fries and I told her no we’re leaving. Didn’t even accommodate for it on the Bill, only thing was the fries that I didn’t eat. The food was cold. The service was lousy and there was hair in my food.

Fast greet by hostess. Ordered simple breakfast burrito (in Socorro it takes 5 minutes or less, even when it's busy). 30 minutes later, still no food, no one came by the table to check on refills. Told the waitress I was going to check on my dogs in the car. Came back, table was cleared. Sat there for another five minutes and no one came by again, so I left.

Also, some context: I was a server and bartender for 15 years. I still miss it. I've worked in dive bars, pool halls, chain restaurants, and fine dining. I tip big and forgive much. I understand texting and smoke breaks. However, there were 3 servers on and 7-8 tables. Maybe the BOH was short staffed; I get it. But acknowledging that it's taking long or that there are issues is easy to do, and goes a long way.

I'm 5 days into a seven day road trip and my dinner tonight had been the most enjoyable of the trip so far. The staff here is very nice. I can't say the food was brought quickly but when it was served it was nice and hot and very tasty.

When we arrived the place wasn't full yet! We then placed our order and had to wait a long time for our food, guests who came after us also received their food before us! The food was mediocre at best, the service seemed overwhelmed!
