We recently had a wonderful time eating at this restaurant. The food was totally authentic southwestern, and the waiter was outstanding and explaining about the food. The surroundings was awesome and this is a restaurant I would like to come back to visit again.
We isited this local institution (just celebrated 60 years) for dinner and as always, the food, service and ambiance were special. We try to visit monthly for lunch, dinner or weekend brunch. The drive from Santa Fe is beautiful.
They make New Mexican food the way my family has for centuries. The building is attractive. The parking is adequate. The employees are nice. Chimayo is a little off the beaten path. Totally worth the trip. It was not too busy in October.
