Travelled here in August 2023, it was our first time in Morocco, quick check in whilst to were allowed to go and get some food. Room We were allocated room 1314, bright clean room with balcony overlooking the pool, cleaned daily with fresh towels and bottled water for the fridge. Pools We did not join in the rush for the pool as it was just too hot at 48 degrees, there were plenty of sunbeds within the trees and gardens which the shade was needed. Restaurants and bars Food was plentiful, breakfast was my favourite with the omelette station. We did go to the culinary restaurant once as allowed, but unfortunately I was unwell on this day so we were unable to make it further than the starter, which was a shame. Staff and entertainment Well what can I say, do many names to mention from Rachid, Muhammed, Ahmed and so many more, pool bar service was great, along with the lovely air conditioned bar, a tip really goes a long was with these guys who totally deserved every penny that we gave, drinks were never empty and they all work extremely hard. Gee was just the best host and so much fun, she certainly got me up dancing! Chloe was also a great asset to medina gardens! Unfortunately I was poorly for a few days during the holiday and still feeling the after effects now, I believe it is a combination of the heat, the travelling and probably ice /water. I would not let this stop me returning, amazing hotel and staff in a beautiful part of the world! Thank you medina gardens....we had a blast, best wishes from vicky and Richard x

During our stay at the TUI Blue hotel in Marrakech, our expectations for a 4-star, all-inclusive resort were unfortunately not met. Our room proved to be small and unclean, with an initial unpleasant sewage odor. The overall cleanliness, notably the floors and elevators, fell below the typical standards we anticipate from a 4-star resort. Filthy elevators and a cloudy pool were disappointments, and even the glasses used at the pool bar throughout the day were not adequately cleaned, raising concerns about hygiene across the entire property. Regrettably, both my partner and I experienced health issues during our stay, and it was disheartening to discover that many other guests faced similar problems. We took precautions, such as avoiding ice in our drinks, adhering to a cautious meal plan, and exclusively consuming bottled water. However, these efforts did not shield us from illness, which suggests significant hygiene challenges within the resort. We must emphasize that the staff at the hotel were quite pleasant, but it appeared that there were insufficient personnel to maintain the cleanliness standards expected of a 4-star establishment. While we were content with the flight arrangements and the assistance provided by the TUI representatives at the resort, our overall impression of the Medina Gardens hotel was one of disappointment. Its cleanliness and hygiene standards did not align with our typical experiences at 4-star TUI hotels.

So sad nice hotel nice location but bar staff wouldn’t serve one drink past midnight when it’s all out inclusive even though it’s all local non premium alcohol. Wouldn’t bother coming again as the all inclusive alcohol is BS. Shame really as it is a great location!

This was our fifth visit to this amazing hotel. We are well travelled and holiday frequently throughout the year, but always return to this lovely little hotel in the heart of Marrakech. I will not name staff as feel it would take up the whole review, needles to say they are all brilliant and work so hard to make everyone's stay perfect, we now regard many as friends. The food is so very tasty and varied, the chef will accommodate requests if there is something you specifically want. The drinks although not branded are of high quality for North Africa, and the bar staff will make you your favourite tipple or cocktail, keeping your glass topped up. The rooms are bright and spacious with everything you could need for a comfortable stay, they are cleaned daily with fresh towels replaced. Housekeeping are always cheery, and very apologetic if they entre the room while you are there. The grounds are absolutely lovely and it was good to see the gardens had recover from the previous years (pandemic). We had no problem with the sunbed situation around the main pool, as we are early rises, that said there are lots of beds in the gardens. The main pool can be difficult to get out of as there are no steps, I have arthurites in wrists and knees, this would be the only reason I would not return in the distant future ( I will be devastated when that time comes). Overall we once again you made our August break sensational, thank you so much and see you next year xxx

The most amazing holiday, everything was perfect from start to finish from the food to the entertainment and the room was absolutely beautiful. All the staff were extremely friendly, we will definitely return.

What an amazing place , hotel was lovely and the room was spacious and comfy. All the staff I dealt with were so kind and helpful from start to finish. The food at lunch and dinner was also great and offered a great variety. Big shout out to Mustafa for never failing to put a smile on my face whilst he served behind the bar. Will definitely be returning.

First time in Morocco and booked the Medina Gardens. Great location right next to the Cyberparc and Artisan shops, and only a short walk to the souks. Hotel is adult only and has 2 Pools. Staff are what make this stay so special, they are so helpful and the daytime activities are brilliant. The gardens inside the complex are beautiful. Well maintained and offer a much needed shade during the day. The tortoise garden is super cute, we counted 13 one day. Rooms are spacious and restaurant offers lots of choice. There is a gym building in the gardens too. You had a towel token which you could cash in to get a clean towel. You ideally need 2 as the plastic red pads got too hot to lie on during the day. You hand the token in at the end of your stay. Was flabagasted at people sitting round the pool at 7am to wait for the beds to be put out, especially when there were loads available amongst the gardens. There were signs about not reserving but no one paid any attention. There was plenty choice for food and my favourite was pasta made to order on evening it was gorgeous, but the evening meats and tuna were all over cooked and very dry. There is another restaurant you can eat at in the day or book once per stay on night. We had lamb chops that were so overcooked we could hardly cut them. There is also another restaurant on the side you can pay to eat at but we didn't bother. Also a spa and smoke building with hookah again didn't use these facilities. Lovely cafe inside serving teas, coffees and snacks during afternoon and a lady came and baked tasty bread in the outside oven on a number of days. Set cocktails on menus but staff did do others not listed if asked. Vaping was allowed inside the hotel and at outside restaurant which doesn't sit right with me breathing perfume when eating. Tui really needs to look at this as if someone can wait 3 hours travelling without Vaping then surely they can last an hour whilst eating. We did complain on one occasion to a young lady, not British, and the lady just started up again after staff came to tell us it was allowed. There was evening entertainment outside but it rain with thunder and lightening a couple of evenings we were thereso stayed in bar area. Inside during evening meal time were talents musicians and a pianist played some nights in reception, they were exceptional. Overall we had a lovely time and glad we stayed at this hotel. It's worth venturing out, we did during day, but be extra careful.

This hotel was a pleasure to stay in. Every member of staff make you feel amazing. Mustafá in the pool bar from day one looked after us every morning bringing water and our morning coffees and my Bloody Mary. All through the day you were served with a smile. All the indoor bar staff knew your drink but offered a variety of drinks if you fancied a change. You were always greeted and served with a smile. In the buffet chef said would greet us and make sure we had everything we needed. Our server zahira was adorable and on hand to bring anything we needed. As for the fitness and entertainment team G, Chloe and Ellie, they worked so hard to make your days fun and entertaining. From the games we played to the aqua classes it was fun and inclusive all the time. These ladies made everyday a great day!!! All the staff really do make this hotel. Guest services manager Nesrine greeted me everyday with a smile and such wonderful conversation, taking time to chat and find out how I was doing and talking about life in general. The only think letting this hire down is the pool bed situation as there needs to be more beds near the main pool and us brits have made it hard on ourselves but getting up at the crack of dawn to get a bed round there! Not sure what can be done here so it is what it is. Overall this hotel is a welcome break in the sun with the staff making every day wonderful. Oh and try the star bar it’s well worth the money for delicious cocktails and mouth watering food with entertainment to make you clap and move!

I arrived late due to my flight being delayed and initially I was underwhelmed by the hotel, as it looks so much bigger in the brochure. In the cold light of day my feelings changed, the hotel is amazing, yes, it is small, as are the pools but what it lacks in size it surely makes up for in character. With the amazing staff you very quickly settle into relaxation and utter overindulgence, your every need catered for in double quick time. Soukana and Amine looked after us for every meal, always a smile and asking if we had slept well or had a good day, ensuring we didn't need anything. Armid and Nawfal in the main bar were just fantastic, Armid in particular.... Where do I start, once he gets to know you, when he heard you coming he will have a drink ready for you before you even sit down, and your glad well never be empty, even when your ready to leave! Kawtar, the assistant bars manager is just outstanding, she found out it was our anniversary and made sure we had an evening to remember giving us a bottle of iced wine and flowers, then later on in the holiday awarding me"best dressed" on the neon night, my prize, a bottle of iced champagne ??. Every day asking if we had a good day, how we were feeling and what we had planned for evening. All staff are genuinely interested in each and every visitor. The entertainment program during the day is excellent and varied, G and Chloe make sure you have a great time, G is the best aqua aerobics instructor I've even seen, she is funny and enthusiastic and really cares that you enjoy your time making it very personal ensuring she knows you by name and using it each time she sees you around the hotel. Chloe is great, warm, welcoming and very knowledgeable in everything she does, engaging you in the activities throughout the day. The evening entertainment isn't always much cop, three nights of outside entertainment which is excellent but the rest of the week is made up of guests creating the entertainment, as i in, quizzes, dance competitions and bingo with a theme night that really needs to bed better advertised as unless you read in advance the entertainment (two weeks in advance) you don't know anything about it, so isn't really taken up by the guests or the entertainment staff as it could be. This is a shame, it could really be something special. The rooms are spotless and cleaned daily by excellent room staff ( sadly I didn't catch the name of the house keeping staff). Shampoo, shower gel and hand wash are replenished daily, but no conditioner so you may need to bring some ladies. The snack bar/ culinarium is excellent, the food is outstanding as are the staff and service, I think the culinarium should be offered once per week rather than per stay but that's just my opinion. The gardens are kept spotless as is the pool area and outside bar. There are "sunbed wars", if you choose to engage in them, you will need to be by the pool around 730am to wait for the beds to be put out at 8 am to claim a bed and parasol but if like us your not that bothered, there are plenty beds around the gardens and within walking distance of the pools and bar. The location is perfect for exploring the souks and square within a ten minute walk, once you get to know your way around you can get there within five minutes. There is a"back door" in and out of the hotel by the saffron restaurant which is a much shorter route to the souks and square if your feeling adventurous. We didn't try the saffron sky bar so can't comment but others said it was excellent (third party owned so chargeable). Overall, we had an amazing two weeks here, completely made by the fabulous staff, thank you all so very much.

This hotel is right in the centre of Marrakech. Ideal for relaxing and nipping into the medinas. Rooms are comfortable and clean, staff friendly. The themed nights were really good fun. Food was nice, loads of dessert options. Good quality drinks and amazing mint tea. I wouldn't often go back somewhere but we will be back here.

We are just about to depart after a wonderful week’s holiday at Medina Gardens Everything has been spot on other than the odd minor niggle such as running out of wine glasses in the main bar but nothing that would deter me from returning. I would advise those opting for pool view rooms from having rooms on the first floor as many of the balconies are above the roof of the main bar below where a few of the local kittens like to roam so you can often need to keep your patio door closed to keep them out of your room. Housekeeping staff were fantastic. There is a small room fridge and you get a large bottle of water fresh each day. Food was of a good quality and Chef Said and the team worked hard to ensure variety even for the pickiest of guests. Guests get one night at the Culinarium restaurant which made for a nice change and needs to be booked through the TUi blue app. The snack bar offers an alternative for lunch with a select menu of snack items such as poke salad, cheese burger, pizzas and some pastas this is part of AI. Soukainia was regularly our server in the main restaurant and was excellent deserving of a special mention, The AI includes a reasonable selection of drinks and Mustapha works tireless with the team at the pool bar to keep everyone refreshed. There is a fridge where you can help yourself to small bottles of water. There was a TUI rep on site at the hotel within core hours everyday and the TUI activity team were great with a varied programme of day and some nighttime activities. The gym is small but absolutely adequate for the few guests that choose to use such facilities on their holiday. Pretty new technogym treadmills x2, recline bike x1, spin bikes x4 and cross trainer x1. There are a few multi function weight machine and some free weights. We would be happy to return

Just finishing the perfect week, great food, excellent service and a special mention to Mustafa who works the pool side bar. Mustafa is worth his weight in gold, great guy with second to none customer service skills, he has really made our break special. A beautiful hotel and surroundings. Definitely would, without hesitation recommend.

The garden areas with lots of lovely trees were perfect for finding shade when you wanted it, or sun. Very spacious and plenty of sunbeds available. Food was really tasty and a bit different from the standard all inclusive Canaries stuff that we are used to. Mustapha in the pool bar was brilliant, he worked his socks off and was really efficient at getting the drinks served to his many customers. A lovely chap too.

A bit of a hit and miss really - we paid extra for a room with a balcony and jacuzzi which looked great in the photo but the reality was that it was not a balcony but on the ground floor facing off the wall and quite a dark room, quite disappointing and misleading really. I wished we had gotten a cheaper room but lighter. The food was ok overall except probably the Moroccan night unfortunately as the tagines were a bit overcooked and meat tough. The location was pretty good though and we went out for dinner one night and it was great.
