A gem! Pure and simple. The staff, amazingly friendly, telling stories, history and friendship...we felt the best vibe here... amazing!
THE CHURIZO BREAKFEAST BURRITO was top notch, egg heavy, green chillies! and devine with the home made spicy tomato salsa...unique, different and a treat. I RATE THE BURRITO.. an 8.4.... a must have.. nobody gets a 10....btw
Banana bread was good too!
I sent my wife here for her 2 business meetings she had in the morning as I biked in 35 miles later from Angle Fire.
Great wifi! and she was able to do her international meetings as I sat on the front stoop talking to 2 or 3 locals passing through like an old western! Lol
CIMMERON in November, an experience of what things were in the past...quite..almost desolate...but alive as the world was generations ago before the movement to big city's.
Just want to say thank you to the staff and locals who I befriended on our journey. You made our experience to Cimmeron what it should be...

Beautiful atmosphere, very sweet old building. House coffee was good, certainly not the best breakfast burrito I've ever had, tasted like it had gas station nacho cheese sauce in it. Overall a neat little place to visit.
Prices a little expensive, but you're in the middle of nowhere so you get what you get.

Delicious bison burger and fresh hand cut fries. This is how it's supposed to be. Well done Cimmeron Mercantile!

The fries in beef tallow tasted nice, like i remember from my childhood back in Europe. It was a very authentic old-worldy charm one should try! The bison burger had a bit of a sour taste, but we ate it and did not get sick. The people working here were lovely and welcoming. Very good hazelnut coffee. Nice decor inside.

This a cool old store and a good restaurant. It's in an old building in a cool old town. Very clean restrooms. Great food. The server was no nonsense, but very good.

Stopped here on the way to red river and back! On the way we grabbed a sandwich and a lemonade and it was really good! On the way back I got an iced mocha and it was also great! (And I’m really picky about coffee) 😊

I didn’t spend much time at this little mercantile in Cimarron but we were walking around during our short time post-trek in town and it’s a cute little shop. I found a sign from Chicago near the restrooms, a nice little reminder of home. Enjoyed the visit on 6-25-25. (Written 7-9-25)

The red chile fries were delicious yesterday evening! Very neat atmosphere and the ladies working were all great.
Nice place, lots of History
visited with a scouting troop from philmont. lovely place for coffee and lunch
wow! Great grass-fed beef options. The cheeseburgers are large, served on house baked buns. The fries are actual potato, fried in grass fed tallow. The flavor is amazing. The staff are all very friendly and a great asset to Cimarron.
