DONT! just don't. If you want good food and good service go to Denny's in Raton instead.

We stopped for breakfast after leaving Philmont Scout Ranch with 19 people. They were great to us: friendly, organized, helpful! Food was great. Would definitely recommend to others!

My family and I got there right at closing time and they let us come in and eat anyway. Everyone was so friendly and made us feel welcome despite us coming in late. The food was absolutely incredible and our server Mike was great!

If you are within 80 miles of Cimarron NM, I suggest you make a detour to eat at Kit Carson by Mountain Magnolia. Rhonda is rocking it with her special touch. Our favorite is Granny T’s chicken tenders with corn and potato mashers.

Pretty bad under the new ownership. Very slow service, I don't know what they did to the coffee it tasted really old and burnt. Food was bland. They got out orders wrong, even after coming back to the table several times to confirm what we ordered. This was a great breakfast spot a while back but now it's not worth going to unfortunately.

There is not much open in Cimarron when it is the off season for Philmont. It is hard to know that this restaurant is even open. The chicken tender meal was able to feed 2 people. The salad was big.
