The Thanksgiving dinner was the best food I’ve has since leaving the Deep South. Nothing was dry or overcooked. Everything perfectly spiced. The cooks here know what they are doing!

The waiter, Doug was amazing and really funny. I had the Pat Garret and it was IMacuLate. I would recommend this to anybody staying the night for Philmont. #DripswagFeazyCollective

Really wanted to like this place. We arrived with a group of nine. Another group larger than ours came in 20-25 minutes after us. They all had their food, ate and left before all of us had our food. Over two hours later, we finally were able to leave. Food was good, but if you're in a hurry, you might skip.

My troop stopped here for breakfast after spending 7 days hiking around Philmont. The food was good and the service was great! One of my scouts forgot their charger at the table and the server went out of their way to chase us down in the parking lot to get it back to him. Really kind and very appreciated staff!

Well this one is hard to rate. We went once and everything was wonderful and delicious. So we went back a few days later and they closed the door in our faces because they ran out of food. So I was leaning five star- but door in my face kind of takes that away.
They dealt with 22 of us dropping in. We overwhelmed them, and yet they took good care of us. Our tradition was always St James but these guys will be our go to tradition from now on. Thanks for the great service and taking good care of us.

The barbeque is served on certain days of the week. If you have the cook separate portions, there is a $5 charge. After waiting for chicken fried steak, waitress comes out and says there is no chicken fried steak today. While waiting, a large black bug was crawling across the floor.
