Went here on a recommendation from a CoWorker. The food was ok, not over the top and definitely not the Texas Style BBQ we are used to. The food had good flavor but very little if any smoke ring or smoke flavor. I had the brisket and jalapeño cheese sausage. The brisket lacked any smoke flavor and was a tad dry but it was tender, The jalapeño cheese sausage could have use more jalapeño, but I get why some people tone it down. I would eat here again while in town.

I ordered take out. Therefore I could not offer an opinion on the atmosphere. However, the restraunt appeared to be well kept and clean. The food was really good and the young lady handling my take out order was very professional with an excellent demeanor. I live in California and I was out visiting with my sister, brother and niece. I will go back again!

We went there today around 1 or 2 pm there was only two people in there multiple dirty tables. We ordered a meat plate and an extra side of okra it was all cold. We had to send the plate back to be warmed up and the okra was cold we had to ask for that to be replaced. Was very disappointed since the first time we went it was amazing. What a change
