Lovely afternoon, Karen and Bobbie were very knowledgeable about the wines, very proud of the quality and love that goes into the wine process. The reds are excellent and my sister bought a case of the Crimson for the holidays. The Sandhill cranes were a bonus.
What a fabulous place. Another place in Corrales I pass often and never stop. This Saturday afternoon was a me day and I stopped. The dirt road was short and the sand hill cranes we’re enjoying some late snacks in the field. I enjoyed tasting the variety of wines, purchased a bottle and chatted with those who entered. The great windows look out to the amazing views of the mountains. In warmer months I plan on sitting underneath the large tree in the back with a bottle of wine...
We had the best rainy afternoon at the Corrales Winery. We were planning on visiting another winery in the area but they were closed. We saw signs for the Corrales Winery and decided to stop in. It's the cutest little tasting room. The holiday decorations were adorable. Karen was warm and delightful. She explained all of the wines in vivid detail and made us excited to try them! You won't find a better deal on a tasting. $5 to sample any 4 wines and if you buy a bottle...
