This place was incredible. In the day this location seems to be like a café, but in the evening for dinner, this place turns into a nice intimate restaurant. 10 out of 10 for the drinks. Nine out of 10 for the food. Perfect place for a date night or simply having a good time. Definitely would come back. Highly recommend a reservation. Also in a cute part of town.
It was a little odd, we had reservations on Valentine's Day and were sat at the bar when there were many open tables. Couples that had reservations at the same time as us and showed up after us were getting seated at tables, and there was even a table that I saw that was empty the entire time we were there. The bar tenders were nice, but it wasn't exactly romantic when we were sharing our dinner with two other dudes who were working away and all the other servers coming...
We've dined at Forty Nine Forty at least 3 other times and unfortunately we won't return anytime soon. The food was FANTASTIC as usual but the staff really needs some training. First, it was raining when we arrived. We went to the door labeled “Forty Nine Forty” and were abruptly stopped and informed we were at the wrong door.
