I love the food and ambiance at Mulas. During my most recent visit, my party and I had a server who was friendly and prompt but who, unfortunately, was brand new to the restaurant and, as a result, was unfamiliar with just about every menu item and its ingredients. This really slowed down the process of ordering, as the server had to run to the kitchen again and again and again in order to get answers to each of our questions. I realize that restaurants (and all other types of organizations) hire new employees on a regular basis. So this is more of a comment about this restaurant's new-employee training processes and procedures than it is about the (still limited) knowledge of this one particular server, who really did want to be as helpful as possible. I plan to return to Mulas because, as noted above, I love the food and the ambiance. So my comments are intended as constructive criticism, not trolling.
We have been to Mulas several times before and enjoyed the atmosphere. We've noticed the portions have been getting smaller, but still wanted to try it again for Valentine's Day. It took 20 minutes to get a waitress, only when I went looking for one did we get one. Our two appetizers came out about 10 minutes apart . I had to find my waitress again to get the glass of wine I ordered. Another 20 minutes went by to finally see our waitress again to order our dinner. My wife's dish came out, reasonably fast and it took another 20 minutes for are we just to tell me that my dish was no longer available so I picked another one. 15 minutes went by and my waitress came out and told us that too was unavailable so she offered something else that sounded OK so I ordered that 10 minutes went by and that two was no longer available. I finally had to get up for the third time and speak to a manager who asked me what else I wanted and I said whatever might still be available. She brought two free dishes because I was tired of choosing. The manager stopped by a little bit later and essentially said they were shortstaffed and that's how restaurant business goes sometimes as if that was OK to the customer sadly atmosphere is wonderful, but we won't be going back.
The food was great and good craft cocktails; however, there was a long wait for the cocktails and even longer for the food.
Pretty much everything was great including the taste of the food. Somehow the night we were there, the food took too long to arrive, good thing we were having some great conversations with friends, otherwise we'd be irritated. The food literally came started coming out after an hour, 1-2 food at a time, and 20 minutes more apart. The wait staff explained that there were some issues going on in the kitchen.
Probably won't go again. Shrimp needed to be deveined in the ceviche and we requested the lamb chops to be medium rare to medium and they were well done. Service was slow and it appeared that the server had too many tables to take care of.
The food was fantastic. It's served tapas-style, so we could have used more little plates than the single one we were provided so that we didn't mix those delicious sauces. There was just a small hiccup when the second set of dishes we ordered took a little too long to arrive. The ambience on the patio was lovely; however, in the dining room, the lighting was a bit harsh and not very inviting.
Food not good. Several plates were served with cold food still slightly frozen in the middle. Way too pricey. Even the coffee was not good. The only good experience was the live entertainment.
Was excited to try Mula's but the experience was disappointing. We waited to be acknowledged and then waited again before our server arrived. The place was busy and understaffed, which happens, but it was frustrating to see management not stepping in to help. Food was just okay. The croquetas were good, but the empanadas were overcooked and tough. If management seemed more engaged, I'd consider giving it another try.
Such a beautiful atmosphere and delicious food also dog friendly which we love I'll definitely be going there again!
Although I wasn't a fan of a few dishes my friend liked them. They made it right and even gave me carrot cake to take home. Chef was accommodating and super nice. I would try the corn salad with no spring mix ( not a fan of spring mix lol)

Very cute spot, nice ambience, and they had live music. We had the pork belly that empanada the chicken skewers and the steak. Presentation was great. Food was good. The service was a little slow, especially for the drinks, but all in all really cute place.
Good food on New Years Eve's tapas menu. A little pricy for the quantity. The service was good but not great. Restaurant was very cold with the covered patio doors open.
We enjoyed another delightful dinner. Our server, Aris, was very attentive and friendly. We ate in the outdoor patio, very cozy atmosphere with above heaters over us. It was a bit chilly in the main dining area, but, it was a chilly evening. Our food arrived promptly and love the small plate selections. The pork belly was amazing!
Great evening! Food and service was great! Live music was a nice unexpected touch which accounted for a lively crowd on a Friday evening! It appears Mulas is settling in as a worthy option for a great night out at a reasonable price!!!
I'm not keen on the tapas “meals”. The first time we came here it wasn't like that. I won't be coming back.
