Definitely a local spot. Prices on Mexican food were good. Prices on steak was expensive. We had Mexican food and it was decent. Our server was very attentive and friendly. Recommend you give the Cactus Cafe a try.
I've never had food anywhere with such great green chile flavor! Can't get over the freshness and homemade quality. Our table of 4 had chips and salsa, queso, brisket tacos, regular tacos, stacked enchiladas with red sauce, and chile rellenos. We all swapped and shared and it was all delicious! The owner, Dave was there helping us make our choices. Very caring and attentive. So happy we made the choice to eat there!
I have to say out of atleast 35 states we have had Mexican food this was hands down the best most awesome we have EVER had!!!! The chips and salsa and the smoked queso were over the top then came the food. My husband ordered a brisket burrito but ask for it to be deep fried like a chimichanga. No problem they said and he devoured it. I had the combination plate and there was nothing on this platter that wasn't beyond wonderful. Prices are great and portions are plentiful....
