Did not dine in, Cactus Cafe was gracious enough to make ours to go as we were just passing through with dogs and arrived around 8pm.

We were passing through Demming and needed some lunch. Lots of items looked good on the menu, but we settled for brisket tacos and pork tacos,. Bot were very good, better than most. The Spanish rice and side of beans were top notch, not an after thought like most places. Service was attentive. Prices were fair. The best thing was the salsa they provided with the complimentary chips. The green chile salsa that stands as on of the best anywhere!

I recommend the Mexican plate. The enchiladas, the tacos, and the chile rellenos were delicious! They also have homemade potato salad that is REALLY good!
Kids split a bean burrito plate without the smothered sauce, it was perfect. Five stars from me.👍
