“My wife and I had been driving Route 66 for 10 days and were headed back home to Texas when we stumbled upon this place. What a delightful reprieve from other diner food. We both had a chef salad. Perfectly prepared. Ice cold, green leaf lettuce. None of the rib. Perfectly cooked boiled egg. Equal amounts of ham and turkey. Just the right amount of grated cheeses,carrot,tomatoe,and cucumber. We were very happy. Service was good and a cute interior/exterior building. Would go back !”

“Traveling cross country we encountered problems with our car hauler, so we took it for repair. As I was detaching the car hauler, a man stopped to help me. He brought some stone patio blocks of his own, and placed them to chock the hauler tires. He said he didn’t need them back. The hitch would not come off the ball, so he offered for us to park the hauler on his restaurant parking lot, which was more level. It worked, and the hitch came right off. He turned out to be the owner of this restaurant. While getting the vehicle fixed, I walked back to his nearby restaurant, and got lunch for my husband and I. My husband got the beef enchiladas, and I got the chile rellenos. They were the best rellenos I have ever had! My husband said his enchiladas were very good. His restaurant is small, but very cozy, and appealing. There are many beautiful decorations, and murals to enjoy. It is very clean , and a pleasant, peaceful, environment. What a kind hearted man, to offer assistance, when he saw me struggling. When I came back, after our vehicle was fixed, to return his blocks, I just had to give him a hug of thanks, he is such a wonderful person. Thank you, Mr Carrillo!”

“Man oh man, do I recommend!! They have the best Strawberry Rhubarb pie I’ve ever had!! Perfect!! The cinnamon roll was soft with the perfect amount of cinnamon. I couldn’t stop eating it. I also tried the jalapeño cheddar bread and it was delicious!! I’ll definitely be back!!”

“We are so glad that we read the Google reviews and stopped to grab lunch here! My husband got a breakfast burrito , I got the Barbacoa tacos and both were delicious. They also were super kind and gave us some of their signature chicken dish - and it was absolutely delicious. This is the perfect spot for ANY meal of the day. Do yourself a favor and stop here. Also you get SO MUCH food for a great price! I would have taken pictures to post but ….. we ate it all too fast to snap any pics.”

“I love going to the Adobe Deli. The artifacts are still quite amazing. The food is amazing. Megan the waitress is amazing. She is such a ray of sunshine, with a greeting smile and a bundle of energy. I love the Italian Sandwich with the best potato salad in NM. The macaroni salad and coleslaw are excellent. Let's not forget the fried zucchini. I only wish they would fix up the outside area. A nice patio area with a cover would be great.”

“The only thing that is not good is that they close so early. I would like to eat better more then just 2:00pm and with this being practically the only place to eat healthy. it’s inconvenient. Most days I can’t make it by the time they close. Love the food tho and the staff is great.”

“Run, do not walk, to Patricia if you need a wedding cake! Simply perfection on looks and taste. She made it available on a day she isn't normally open. Just cannot say enough about my wedding cake!😍I'm confident her other custom cakes will satisfy even the pickiest of all!”

“Recently had my MOMS funeral luncheon catered by Oly and her staff. The food was delicious and they took care of everything. This restaurant is by far the best in Deming and my favorite. The red and green enchiladas were perfect as well as the carne with red chile! Highly recommend La Fonda! Next time we are back I will definitely need some chile rellenos😋 10 star restaurant!! Thank you Oly and staff♥️”

“This food truck is easy to find. We ordered Carne asada quesadilla and chicharron burrito. Both are yummy. They have a table and chairs for those who want to dine in. We wanted to dine in but it's too cold, so we ended up eating inside the car. There's no parking area but I guess we can use the parking area beside it.”

“Hoping to try the Khadi Pakora and Baingan Bhartha next. We’ve eaten here twice in two weeks and will be back every week hence. Neat truck-stop diner vibe. Very clean. The owners are lovely kind and neighborly. Plenty of vegetarian choices. Safe parking. Long haul truckers, you need to park and eat here. Anyone who appreciates fresh cooked meals, kind people and large portions for very reasonable prices needs to frequent this charming diner.”

“My family's been going to the Road Runner since it was a 24-hour/day truck stop when the only thing in Pojoaque was the Runner and La Mesita across the highway. . My long-time favorite is the green chile chicken enchilada , with the best sopapillas in the county, and American-style endless cups of coffee with cream. Their (all day) breakfast burritos, smothered or handheld, and menudo are, around here, considered the breakfasts of champions. And for non-locals, they have a nice patty melt.”

“Great little takeout restaurant. The breakfast burritos are large, inexpensive and delicious (I get bacon, egg, potato, cheese). The smothered burrito plates are AWESOME and also huge. I get the plates and extra sides of rice and beans--a whole container of each is about 2 dollars. Call in your order for pickup for faster service. My favorite takeout place. Wish they were opened on weekends!”

“Excellent Taco Bell location in Deming, NM! The place was very clean and well maintained, and the food was fresh, hot, and tasted great. Everything was prepared properly and the service was quick and friendly.

“Overall a great stop after the cinema, the male host looked a little annoyed when we walked in even though they were slow maybe he was just having an off day. As a business manager myself I would remind him he is the first Interaction and impression a customer has with the business, he sets the entire tone and mood, smile!

Server was a sweetheart, and nailed every aspect of her job. She made up for Mr grumpy pants at the door 😂

Restaurant was clean, we'll kept up, and had a good vibe to it. Only small complaint was the obscene music playing from the kitchen to the dining room and only because I had my niece with me. (waitress apologized, again she was an absolute sweetheart)”
