We stopped here during a road trip and so glad we chose Irma’s. Yes there’s lots of choices but luckily we chose correctly. The salsa was great and the breakfast chorizo potato burrito smothered in green sauce for under $10 held us over for hours and hours.
We had the Paradilla’a for two with beef and it was excellent. They first serve charro beans and a baked potato. The charro beans are really good, cooked with bacon and ham. Then the beef, cheese, onions, jalapeños are served on a sizzling bowl with corn tortillas. Really excellent and worth the stop in Deming.

If you like fake atmosphere, then this place is not for you. Southern and eastern NM has some great restaurants because this region is where green chiles come from, and Irma's is a great example. All I had to do is tell the boss lady a little about what I liked and she was on my wavelength. She brought out samples of the red and green enchilada sauce and I knew I was safe in her hands.
