My wife and I had been driving Route 66 for 10 days and were headed back home to Texas when we stumbled upon this place. What a delightful reprieve from other diner food. We both had a chef salad. Perfectly prepared. Ice cold, green leaf lettuce. None of the rib. Perfectly cooked boiled egg. Equal amounts of ham and turkey. Just the right amount of grated cheeses,carrot,tomatoe,and cucumber. This had become one of my mom and I’s favorite diners. I love they have ice cream up front. Good food and great atmosphere! I love that their ice cream spoons change colors between cold and hot. I save each one. The pink that turns purple when cold and I have a yellow that turns orange when cold. We will continue to come here for as long as they remain open here in deming. Great service as well!!
What a SWEET little place! The food was delicious, the place is as clean as a whistle, and Becky herself - along with her sister Anna - were fun to chat with! I grew up in Deming but do not get back there often and this was my first visit to this diner as we were passing through town. I’m definitely going back. The whole experience felt special!
