About La Chiripada Winery
La Chiripada Winery Reviews
What a wonderfully quaint vineyard and the staff was quite knowledgeable and friendly. Looking forward to going back.
I visited a couple of weeks ago. I usually go for the sweeter end of wines but opted to try a cab reserve to broaden my taste. I walked out with a $47 bottle of cab and can’t wait to pair it with a good steak.
best wines ever! thank you!

La Chiripada Winery is a welcoming place that allows visitors to sample any wine without a tasting fee. The dry red wines are mature and exceptional, standing out among competitors. Customers praise the knowledgeable staff, who provide excellent recommendations, and describe the overall experience as "top-shelf." Visitors especially enjoy the Sorpresa Blanca and the charming shop with local art.
The winery is conveniently located right off of 75, less than 3 miles away, as signs indicate. It is worth stopping for the unique clay and stainless steel aged wines, all of which are delicious. Customers suggest bringing cash for a discount. The staff is very friendly, and the winery is described as a "great little gem" by returning visitors who come every summer. Guests can enjoy unique flavors from local grapes grown in the mountains, including a popular zinfandel. The winery has been a favorite for those who first discovered it when there was a tasting room in Taos, and they keep returning to the current location near Dixon. Visitors also find the sweet white wine to be a highlight, and the sculptures outside add a fun touch, along with stories from the owners about their link to Colorado.
