Loved this winery. Super quaint and the service was great. The bartender was welcoming and timely
Aspen was a delightful host. She knew her product well and was very helpful in guiding us to our selection. We will be back often.
We really enjoyed our visit. They don't do wine by the glass or bottle on site, but the tastings are free and generous. We shipped a couple cases home to SC. And thank you to Aspen for being such a wonderful host!
Good wine, great experience, recommended!
This was one of the highlights of our winery tour. Amazing wine with free tasting and a very friendly lady behind the counter. The sweet white wine was our favorite.
The last winery on our 5-stop tour of New Mexico wineries.
La Chiripada was an unexpected surprise just down the road from the junction of State Rd 68 and Dixon.
The small twist on the normal theme came from subtle variations to the typical wine tastes, including the use of huge amphora for aging a few of the vintages. The sculpture out front and a fun story from one of the owners about their link to Colorado was a great personal touch to end our tour on.
Free tastings was great . We ended up buying 4 bottles.
I like the whole this is my grandmas back yard and we have 5 star winery .
Perfect to sip buy and go .
Wines were excellent
Stopped in what felt like the middle of nowhere for a little wine tasting. Turned out to be a lovely place that also had a brewery & yummy smelling pizza. A little something for everyone. Lovely.
GREAT people,- owner was so sweet and charismatic. Got an amazing bottle.
They do free tastings! Go and support small businesses 👏
Loved this spot! Excellent service, beautiful scenery, and very interesting yummy wines (+ free tasting!) - worth the drive from Albuquerque! ?

The owners are lovely, friendly people. The wine is delicious.
Right off of 75 less than 3 mi, as the signs say. Worth stopping for the unique clay aged wine, stainless steel aged wine. Everything we tried was delicious. Bring cash if you have it for a discount ?. Super friendly staff as well!
Great little gem. We found it 2 years ago and return every summer. Nice little spot for a tasting and a case of wine. One of the first zinfandel I've liked. Unique flavors in local grapes grown in the mountains.
We love love love La Chiripada Winery! We discovered it years ago when there was a tasting room in the square in Taos. Then 10 years ago, we finally made it to the actual winery near Dixon. Getting back there was a must for us this visit. It did not disappoint!!
Wine tasting is free and unlimited. When you buy a case or more, you get 10 percent off. They ship almost anywhere. Very friendly and knowledgeable people work there.
A generous winery that allows you to try any wine without paying for the tasting. The dry reds were mature and in a class of their own. They were excellent and can stand on their own against any competitor. We really enjoyed our experience with Liz. It was top shelf!!!! We will be back without a doubt. Thank you so much Liz.
