We love love love La Chiripada Winery! We discovered it years ago when there was a tasting room in the square in Taos. Then 10 years ago, we finally made it to the actual winery near Dixon. Getting back there was a must for us this visit. It did not disappoint!! Wine tasting is free and unlimited. When you buy a case or more, you get 10 percent off. They ship almost anywhere. Very friendly and knowledgeable people work there.

A generous winery that allows you to try any wine without paying for the tasting. The dry reds were mature and in a class of their own. This winery is amazing! We made a special trip up from Albuquerque on our trip to New Mexico just to taste and buy wine here. Our tasting went amazing and Sage was very informative and a great person to talk to! Well worth the drive from Albuquerque.

This winery surprised me! It's really good! I've been to a lot of new mexico wineries. They tend to be too sweet for me. The cab reserve is excellent! As well as the vino del oro! And the gewurztraminer! Oh, who am I kidding? I liked almost everything here!
