I’ve had a lot of Chicken gyro sandwiches from all over the world. The seasoning mix used on the chicken contained cardamon, why would you do it. There was so much it over powered the entire sandwich. Definitely will NOT order it again.
Stopped in Sunday afternoon after a mountain bike ride in Taos. What a great lunch spot. Had the green chile cheeseburger with fries. The quality was amazing. Chile was on the warm side (which I appreciate), burger was the perfect ratio, not too greasy and bun was delicious. Fries were seasoned really nicely. Great experience!
Green chile burger was absolutely fantastic. This place is a must stop for me anytime I'm passing thru. And I love the free roaming chickens!
everything is delicious and the fact that they have gf options when they’re one of the only restaurants in miles is just icing on the cake. really happy to have them here :)
The food was delish- we had the sugar burger, a gyro, a brownie, and sodas. The staff was so kind, the property charming. Would visit again and again; a great follow up to white water rafting or fishing!
Mostly closed due to remodeling. Limited food menu served from a food truck. No BBQ anymore... Good burgers and fries, nice outdoor dining area.
I love the gyros at the new Sugars. Honestly, I have to flip a coin to decide between the beef/lamb and the chicken shawarma. I've had the falafel as well, and it is good but the meat ones are more my thing.
Baclava or a brownie for dessert hit the spot. Right now, it is a takeaway or picnic table experience, but I hear there are plans to open a sit-down restaurant on site. I'm looking forward to trying the burgers this summer.
A spin on the original. I will be returning 😄
Amazing! 😍 So lucky to have amazing gyros and burgers in this location. Absolutely worth stopping for the food and a visit to the Gas Museum just down the road. I recommend the chicken Shawarma gyro or the green Chile burger with a Dr. pepper or a locally made root beer. *Chef's kiss*
Delicious 😋

Wonderful food!! We ate there on 9/11. The owners had flags out and the picnic tables were red white and blue. We would definitely stop back if we are in the area
Went to Sugars a couple yrs ago and it was a 5 star no questions asked. Took my wife to eat there recently and the wait time was exaggerated long. Also they gave my order to someone else, then was later given to me but I don't know if previous people touched it. To top it all all off there were so many flies, literally, and it smelt like sewer because of the outside porta potty wasn't cleaned. I understand they are short on staff, however as paying customers we want to enjoy our food in a clean environment because this place isn't cheap.
Not covid safe and very sure to let you know their political views if you walk up with a mask on.
Jesse and Rachel were so great awesome customer service great food very friendly definitely a place to visit if you haven't tried it. will definitely be back
Brisket was delicious. You must be patient but worth the wait
