First time in New Mexico esting local cuisine. I had the sopapilla with Christmas! The waiter was very attentive and made great suggestions. The food was excellent, and the green chilies were my fave.
We stopped for a late lunch/early dinner after spending the morning and afternoon in Ojo Caliente. The food was great and the server was wonderful (I think he said his name was Armando). Everything was delicious especially the posole and the sopapillas. Next time I'll probably order a bowl of posole it was so good.
Stopped on our way back from northern New Mexico by chance. Struck gold. The atmosphere was homey and welcoming. The food was delicious (had the bluecorn pin̈on pancakes). Highly recommended.
