“The food was amazing! We went here specifically because I love Indian Tacos and other local restaurants -like Viola’s in Los Alamos- only make them on certain days. I’m so glad the Indian Tacos brought us in. They were the BEST. The salsa is not white girl friendly 🥵 (hot hot hot) but it is flavorful and fresh. If you’re traveling through, like us, this stop is truly worth planning your drive around. Thank you Jesus for providing great food and fast service.“

“I recently visited Parasol from Pojuaque and was given the worst tamales they've ever produced (raw). I proceeded to go to the OG in Spaña. Not only did they make it right, but the tamales are great. They surpassed my expectations and stand strong as a staple in a town that absolutely needs them. They are always great and I will continue to be a loyal customer and will gladly recommend their food to everyone.“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Sopaipilla Factory Restaurant in Pojoaque, while I stopped by the Peoh Cultural Center and I must say, it was a truly relaxing experience. This is clearly a place where families, both local and tourist alike, can come together and enjoy great Northern Mexican food. The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, and everyone seemed to be having a wonderful dining experience.

For my lunch break, I chose the Carne Adovada plate, and it did not disappoint. The chile had just the right amount of spice (New Mexico Mild), perfectly complementing the tender pork. The Spanish rice was cooked perfectly, with just the right amount of ingredients, and while the mashed beans weren't fresh, they were still quite good. The Sopaipilla was cooked perfectly with crispy top and the honey infused butter was out of this world, I swear the butter was home made by it's creamy texture, consistency and taste.

I found the prices to be fair, especially considering the generous portions. My waitress was also incredibly attentive and had a truly pleasant personality, adding to the overall positive experience. I highly recommend the Sopaipilla Factory to anyone looking for a delicious and comfortable dining experience in Pojoaque.“

“You know, when people in Taos say, “stop at the gas station next to the casino on your way back to Santa Fe for some killer tacos,” most people probably think, “yeah, thanks, no.”

Most people are wrong.

These tacos are excellent. They’re gas station tacos only in that the kitchen is attached to a gas station. Beyond that, these tacos are in their own taco-verse.

Stop here to eat tacos. Three is filling. Don’t kid yourself.“
