Great home cooking. Haven’t had a chicken fried (it’s fresh handmade. Not a frozen one) steak in a restaurant this good since my Mom had her restaurant open. My husband loves the omelet’s. We haven’t been there for lunch or dinner yet.
We travel across country once a year and always try to find the 'mom and pop' restaurants. This cafe made it to the top of our list immediately. We were greeted with friendly smiles and conversation. The menu was unbelievable. Smoked green chili macaroni and cheese burgers smothered in green sauce? It can't get better than that! We also had a country fried steak burrito filled with green chili.
