New favorite sushi joint!!!

The sushi looks better than it is; it has redeeming qualities but needs work.

It's nicely put together and neatly done. However, something about the quality or freshness of the fish seemed off when I was in, more so for some pieces than others, the tuna in particular. It was noticeably fishy. The rice also seemed cold and under-seasoned, making everything bland overall.

Overall not a bad location; casual but clean. The nigiri just needs some improvement and it'd take a big step up.

I received my order and it says 6-8 slices. Once I received it. Does not look like the picture at all and only got 3 slices and 2 tails that you can’t obviously eat. I’m super disappointed because I had their sushi the other night and it didn’t disappoint! Only reason why I put one star the lady answering the phone assumed I was mistaken and needed to bring it in! What a joke.will be posting photo with this.

I had take out and first time eating the food and it was so fresh and delicious! Very very good and this is our go to now. Gentlemen at the counter was very nice. The restaurant itself was so clean and very nice. Loved it!

Was a little disappointed. Ordered the sushi appetizer and received a plate of nigiri. White fish was good, but the salmon nigiri did not taste fresh. Dumplings were amazing, as were the shrimp tempura. Mochi was freezer burnt. Ended up paying 30 for a terrible meal ):

Ordered lunch, had one minute left for the lunch special. The waitress said it’s over. Most places accommodate you. Sat down and ordered. My dish had short black hair in it. The cashier said, nobody with short black hair works for him. Told him none of us have black hair. We have white hair.? There were men with short black hair that came out. ??‍♀️ He then offered to take off 18% off the dish. Told him no. We will pay for the sushi. Used to like eating here. It ended as of today.

I enjoy WZ so I was a bit disappointed with the one here in Farmington. The server did a great job and it was clean and well kept but two issues were bothersome. The Ikura and Salmon nigiri was obviously not very fresh and the dynamite and Phoenix roll both had a taste of perfume or cologne in them as did the wasabi. This really threw off the taste of both rolls and influenced my rating. The Kani salad was great and the rice was cooked very well, not too sticky or too loose. I will come here again on my next visit to this area, my hope is that this was a one off.
