Had a small nail under my burger. The manager had the audacity to say I sabotaged my own meal. Very unprofessional. But at least I got it remade and they did not charge me. But check your food, you never know.

Ordered the Hamburger Steak. That must've been 2 packages of gravy. Tons of gravy... the dish was drenched and mixed with thick onion slices. Lunch wasn't good. Stopped at Subway and got a veggie sub.

My husband and I ordered the enchilada plate. Beef and green chili. That didn't taste good at all. It wasn't spicy. It looked watery. With diced green chili. Just no flavor at all. The refried beans looked like clay. It looked gray. Far from looking brown. The Spanish rice was sweet. Which was like their rice pudding. I use to recommend this place. I don't think I will anymore. Not worth the price either. Just a waste of money.

Wow! It’s rare that you can find a spot such as Avalon, being my first time here I was hesitant. As the saying goes, never judge a book by its cover rings true here.Having a simple menu that don’t have you stress trying to figure out what to get (being an indecisive person this awesome), the fast service made the visit even more great. My parents usually don’t like eating out in Gallup due to vendors coming every minute as your mouth has food in your mouth, Avalon’s no vendor policy allowed for a more private and eased meal.

Abalone's restaurant is a good place to eat. If you feel like you want more more food, go to Evelyn's restaurant. Because they overstack their food. And if you not get child's menu, it's more like you'll get an adult's menu. The food is wonderful, the atmosphere is great. The service is wonderful, but only thing is that they're always pack and try to find Tables. But I recommend to eat at Avalon restaurants..

Parking: There's times you would have a hard time finding the parking spot. But you keep driving around and eventually you will find a parking spot.

I ate dinner there most recently this month (November) and found the mens restroom totally filthy...I wonder what the kitchen looks like. I tbothered me so much that I told the staff to inform the manager that they need to deep clean the restroom. I wont be eating there again anytime soon, and if I do, I will be sure and checkout the restroom first. Studies show the conditions of the restroom also represents the condition of the kitchen.

Had the patty melt & the beef chow mein. Delish! They actually use sour dough for the melt, only other place I know that does that is Gordo's. Best chow mein I've had in the SW. Little crowded but can't complain went during busy lunch hours after the eclipse. Gonna come here again ?

Wait person was nice, took order quickly, and asked if I needed drink refills.Chinese food -- NOT good! Pork fried rice, sweet n sour shrimp, both had weird tastes to them. Portions are big, average for their prices.
