“What a wonderful Cafe owned by a lovely family who are happy and give great service. They were busy with the breakfast crowd but we didn't mind the wait and our delicious food came really fast. My hubby said the coffee was very good. It was a treat to have sopapillas since it has been while. It's a very clean and well run business. 5+ stars from us traveling from Nebraska to Arizona. Stop in and enjoy it yourself.”

My family and I just drove 24 hours from Lenoir NC to New Mexico then another 2 hours to 505 Burgers & Wings that we HIGHLY RECOMMEND after eating there for the first time ever! Our delicious order of Mango Habanero wings.. Teriyaki wings…Jalapeño burger and small order of fries that really looked like a huge order of fries were served quickly and were AMAZING! Our wonderful waitress did an excellent job of taking care of us along with the chef who cooked our fantastic food to perfection! 505 Burgers & Wings is DEFINITELY WORTH the drive! “I have commented some years before about this place. The Menudo then was out of this world but with the changings that have happened, the taste is not there as before. The fullness of the flavor is weak. The times that I have been there, the beef tripe is hardly in the servings, very small pieces. The price you pay for is more for the posole. I hate to say but as being a cook myself, the cook that was there before made it really good compared to now. The service is good thought.”

“After a wild hangover, I went to the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon and ordered a large menudo but they were out, however, they made me a new batch from scratch and it was delicious. Some restaurants just say they are out and that’s it. La Carreta apologized for the wait to get it done but I didn’t mind one bit and enjoyed the chips and salsa in the meantime. That was excellent customer service. The food is exquisite. Try it out if you get a chance.”

The honey has been watery lately, making me wonder if they've switched to a corn syrup honey sauce instead.
I had breakfast recently, (huevos rancheros) and that was very disappointing. It was not good. The green chile had zero flavor. The entire dish had no flavor unless you add your own salt. I was hoping for the chile I get at dinner, but it was a very mild chopped chile. It was also 15 dollars, which makes it the most expensive huevos rancheros I've tried in town.”

“Wow! I dont think I have EVER experienced customer service as good as this in Gallup. Patterson and Charmayne delivered stellar customer service that made our visit to Subway extra enjoyable. They made us feel like a mullion bucks when we walked in. Nothing we asked was beyond them or something they couldn't do for us. They had a great attitude and I didn't feel like I was a problem as a customer. Attention SUBWAY! You don’t want to lose those two!”

Elliot was my bartender tonight and you can tell he enjoys his job and understands the true meaning of customer service. “I was traveling through town to Las Vegas and stopped for an overnight in Gallup. My traveling buddy saw that there was a pool tournament, so we decided to give it a go. Everyone there, from the patrons to the staff, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. There's a full bar and the pool tables that they just recovered. The tables played great. Had a great time!”

My parents usually don’t like eating out in Gallup due to vendors coming every minute as your mouth has food in your mouth, Avalon’s no vendor policy allowed for a more private and eased meal.”

“My wife and I each had burgers, she opted for the classic burger and I opted for Daniel's Burger. An 8 oz patty on a bun that was just the right size, not overwhelming the patty, and dressed to perfection. The best burger I have had in a long time and if you order it you won't be disappointed.”
